I used to be a m11 shipper but then I realized how weird and toxic that ship is so like 5 years ago I switched to byler. It just makes more sense to me. I realized how toxic it is. They started dating when they were 12. They knew eachother for like a week. Jane spend her whole life in a lab, used, abused and traumatised. She did NOT need a boyfriend! She started dating a guy before she even found out how to know what you like (mall scene). I wouldn't be so against m11 if they were like lumax or jancy. But they don't have shared interests ... except Will, probably. All they do is fight and make out. Mike can't even tell her he loves her. I could go on and on.
I like lesbyler (well, as a lesbian I prefer wlw ships over mlm and hetero) and I think it definitely makes more sense than lesm11 ... byler is best friends to lovers, slowburn, shared interests, shared looks ... a lesbian couple where they get together after one week of knowing eachother, right after one of them calls the other 'sister' and after that they have 3 years of toxic relationship & no chemistry etc. ... that would be so boring and ... yurislop! so yeah, if m11 was wlw it would have to be changed ... so almost like lesbyler???
