Then they have to go back to Will’s dad’s house Horribly Traumatized and clinging to each other bc look Hannibal may have been through a lot of shit before but getting drugged and manipulated by cultists is a) real triggering and b) independently v upsetting. Plus he had to see Will get gang raped. And Will yk, got gang raped by cultists??? Anyway they’re v upset

But they bond even closer through that upsetness and having saved each other and they deal with their trauma much more healthily bc they have each other and it’s gay and good

Look Chilton is an absolute bastard who sucks a lot, don’t get me wrong here.

But he is also an absolute delight whose every moment on screen is wonderful bc of the sheer force of Raul Esparza’s charisma

He’s like a yappy chihuahua among a pack of ravenous tigers. Sure, the chihuahua barks at you and nips at your ankles and commits heinous crimes against his patients, but you’ve got bigger concerns right now. He’s harmless, and the fact that he’s trying so hard to be scary is almost endearing when he’s so thoroughly outclassed
