I make posts about the way buddie's screentime changed and evolved throughout the show all the time. I have multiple spreadsheets. I have an actual physical notebook where I do math with those numbers. I am fully aware that the fox run had a lot less buddie even in episodes with a lot of buddie. But it's so glaring to me when I'm watching the supercuts. An abc episode with little buddie is at, let's say around 4 minutes, since every episode from s9 except 904 and 918 had at least 4 minutes. A fox episode with developments for buddie was around 4 minutes. 305, big episode for buddie, grocery store fight, it only has 3m8s. 306 with them making up after has 2m58s. 403 videogames with Chris, coffeemaker prank, 3m39s. 413, Eddie getting shot 4m52 seconds. 513, Eddie's breakdown, 3m19 seconds. 514, the fallout, 4m16s. 612, Buck going to Eddie, the kitchen talking about the shooting, 2m44s. 615, the cemetery scene, 4m55s. Most episodes that go past the 5 minute mark on fox had a lot of firefam scenes. Now 4 minutes is a regular episode where they stand next to each other during a call. Abc run has 5 episodes with less than 2 minutes, and one of those is 707, that has a very intense buddie scene with the framing of Eddie cheating on Buck. When on fox, less than 2 minutes was every other monday. Buddie was never just 2 guys standing next to each other, but legit, the abc run transcended the game.
