The friendship between Captain Hook and Oogie Boogie wasn't as interesting, but it is neat to see Boogie bringing in Lock, Shock, and Barrel for help (they're mentioned to have built the trap). Tinker Bell came in, saved the shadow, and swapped it for Mr. Smee, hence that penguin reveal.

Instead of cursing her to an eternal sleep or death, Maleficent declares that the princess will grow up to betray the kingdom and serve her instead. So the king sends Aurora away, but one day the young adventurous girl strays a bit too far and right into her territory.

I did a quick mini-comic. I think if Kit had decided to help Infinity, that's how it would have ended.
