Got myself a mobile vhf/uhf radio! It is a Yaesu FT-7800r paired with a Diamond NR770HNMO antenna mounted on a Diamond K515SNMO. Now I won't have any trouble working rally nets (hopefully). I'll continue using my baofeng but will buy a Yaesu FT-60 in the future. Good times yesterday at snow summit with Kevin @chengster129 @rallykings @santi_ago_caballero @reddnutz! I haven't ridden my mountain bike in over a year and a half but I'm happy to say that I still have my skills. May not be as fast as before but can still handle the tough stuff. Can't wait for the next ride.
