Like could we have confided in each other and been besties after it all happened or was this ghosting inevitable because of how messy it was?

Especially at the end.

I often think of you fondly about all the times you were there for me and all the things I never would know or like if it wasn't for you. I think about how great of a friend you truly are.

Like sometimes I wish we could talk and I'd tell you about my job and my partner. And you'd do the same. And then maybe we could talk about anime and videogames for a second.

I regret treating you the way I did and I wish I would have been a better friend to you. I see you happy now and I really am glad because you truly deserve it.

But I think maybe that's wishful thinking.

I almost sent this to you, but I don't want to disrupt your life. And frankly, you haven't talked to me in a year for a reason right? Lol remember when you said you'd never stop talking to me because I was your best friend?

Im not really sad while writing this I feel sentimental.
