I got this while scrolling on instagram to try to convince me to join threads and I—

pleeeease, i need to see SNIPS again in the ahsoka show... let her be silly, i’m begging you on my knees. i really like ahsoka's cosplay as gandalf the white, but please let her smile and be happy for more than like 2 seconds

#i was going to anthropomorphize erid too at first but then i thought like #we anthropomorphize earth (and the many things in it) bc she's our planet. we come from her and we have the need to see ourselfs in her #maybe eridians do that too #they have their own form of projecting onto nature and hearing themselfs in their planet #we come from earth so earth is us #and eridians come from erid so erid is them #the respective dominant species of each planet

also keep in mind that shame + guilt are not conducive to growing as a person. when it comes to "checking yourself" it should be a non-judgemental process. it's not about flagellating yourself for every bad thought or trying to purify your mind of all corruption. it's only when acknowledging your own racist thoughts doesn't fill you with dread that you can really progress past the white guilt of it all.
