so peter didn't seem to have a steady job in brand new day and that's because one time spider-man got caught in a bodega scraping together pennies to buy a sandwich and the whole thing was recorded and posted online which led to someone opening a gofundme with a goal of like $5 called "buy spider-man lunch" and it mostly started as a joke but now it has like $100,000 of donations and while peter was at first grateful to be able to pay his rent and buy some food he is now begging people to please stop donating he doesn't feel right accepting all this money oh my god if you have to donate please just give it directly to f.e.a.s.t. he's donating the majority of it right back into his community anyway

This movie was so wonderfully about learning how to grow up and grapple with what you have and what you’ve lost. It’s about realizing that you’re growing up faster than you can keep up with, drifting away from your childhood friends, and burning yourself the fuck out in the process of it all.

the movie showing how jean can feel whatever her “host” is feeling can only mean that during all those excruciating hours that peter was on the surgical table and she was the only thing keeping him alive, she very probably felt everything—every needle, every stitch, every poke and prod. and yet she stayed because peter promised her she wouldn’t be alone anymore, so she’s sure as hell gonna make sure he won’t be either.

the moment that peter decides that he can be both spider-man and peter parker also being the moment he decides to fight mask-off....... how can you not say icon
