I'm exhausted and thinking about Shane. Have some headcanons.
Smoked at some point in his life, maybe for a couple years. I go back and fourth on whether or not he quit for good, but if it was still a smoker, it would be incredibly sparse. One cigarette every month or two, maybe.
Pansexual. He doesn't label himself as such, because he's very ignorant on LGBTQ+ terminology and wouldn't even know what pansexual means. He just knows that gender doesn't matter to him.
In bed, he's dominant and controlling if there's no feelings attached. If he's in love, he becomes incredibly timid and unsure, he almost becomes like... Meek? He's so nervous and needs guidance in order to please his partner. He doesn't want to mess it up, he wants to make it perfect for them.
Spicy! Spicy spicy spicy! He loves food in general, but he really loves spicy food. It's his go-to in any social situation that has food available. He very much keeps antacids on hand, though.
He's in his thirties. I will not budge on this.
He is fat. I will not budge on this either.
He loves Jas more than anything, he sees her as his own. Though he tries his absolute best to take care of her, he knows he lets her down over and over and over again, and he hates himself for not raising her in the way she needs. She still loves him so much, though, and he doesn't understand why.
This man struggles SO FUCKING HARD with anxiety. We don't talk about this enough!! He can be an anxious WRECK, and he suffers through panic attacks when he gets too overwhelmed. He doesn't really know what's happening to him and he doesn't know how to make it stop, so he just kinda... Isolates himself and lets it run its course.
Damaged his knee in one way or another. In my fic, he broke one of his knees, and the pain it causes him is something he suffers through every day. His doctors told him he could never play gridball again, and, to put it lightly, that fucking devastated him.
Stretch marks on his stomach and hips...<3 He highkey hates them.
He is so fucking prone to jealousy and possessiveness if he's in a relationship. The only times he shows PDA with his partner is if that jealousy gets overwhelming. He'll sling an arm over his partner's shoulders, lean into them, hold their hand, kiss their cheek, anything to make it clear that they belong to him.
Weird quirk where he gives everyone... Nicknames, I guess, by simply shortening their names. 'Marn' instead of 'Marnie', 'Harv' instead of 'Harvey', 'Lee' instead of 'Leah'... Things of this nature.
If anything happened to Charlie he would kill everyone in Pelican Town and then himself.
