I excitedly told my brother when we went to get coffee that I'd finished the base because I'm STILL in shock about it tbh, and he asked what my word count was. He loves asking about my word count because he thinks I'm insane. So I told him, about 376k. Without missing a beat, "You're gonna break 400k during the proofreading."

and I'm like I KNOOOOWWWW I KNOW YOU'RE RIGHT I SAID THE EXACT SAME THING, like knowing just How I Am and how much I'm dissatisfied with the beginning especially, like I am practically Guaranteed to break 400k but I'm NOT HAPPY ABOUT IT.
