Maisy (Left) and Milded (Right) the conjoined harpy sisters.
Izzy sat in front of her mother’s mirror as her sister went to work. Two pairs of hands working in unison to braid her hair in swift movements, far faster than she could ever had done. She smiled as her ratty, uncontrollable hair became twined, and braided before her eyes. She grinned and reached up to touch her hair, but Maisy’s hand gently swatted her away.
“Not until we are finished,” her voice creaked.
“It will not be much longer,” Mildred added, smiling at her.
Izzy smiled back, “I don’t know how you are so good at this,” she says up at them, “You don’t have hair,”
“Practice dear,” Maisy smiles, eyes closing.
“Yes all the rats with their disgusing fur all in knots come to us, aswell as the wild wolves,”
“No!” Izzy gasped,”
“Indeed,” Mildred adds, if you ever see a wolf with a delightful bouffant...”
“Or rats with tiny little pompadours? That’s us,”
Izzy giggled as her sisters continued to work. She knew they were probably kidding with her, but she didn’t care!
