some people really played a game about a massive alcoholic fuckup cop who crippled at least two civilians, held a woman in his apartment against her will, left his team to go on benders, violently trashed property and refused help declaring he wanted to get worse,

where one of the central themes is that even a fuckup like that who has hurt a considerable number of people is not inherently evil and beyond redemption,

and all they got out of it was "oh wow this guy's partner is evil and beyond redemption and in fact worse than fascists for leaving and refusing to work with him anymore"
