The ability to seek out information for themselves, efficiently, is totally beyond their capabilities. They cannot deduce or make predictions based on patterns they have observed. They live a hand-to-mouth existence in regards to information processing, and if it is not brought to them and they are not told what to think about it, they can’t do it.
