It started out of frustration. Your tripping over your own feet to the waltz could only lead to Dark taking hold of your hand, pulling you in by your waist and showing you how to dance properly.

Now, your head lies on Dark's shoulder, his large hand still clasped in yours. His lips graze your ear as he speaks, almost startling you out of the moment.

"Stay with me forever, my dove?"

You feel sparks tingle at the points of contact between you when you answer.

You turn around to look at Eric and see him shivering slightly. It seems the sweater he’s wearing isn’t thick enough to protect him from the chill. You wordlessly pull off your jacket and put it around his shoulders. He protests immediately. “Hey, n-no this is yours, I won’t t-take it from you.”

You can’t tell if his stutter is from the shivering or his natural nervousness. “Eric, I’ve lived here my whole life, I’m used to the chill. You aren’t, now keep it.” You gently push the jacket back into his hands and he puts it on, the leftover warmth from you wearing it still lingering on it. You turn back to continue walking, noticing him snuggling deeper into the jacket out of the corner of your eye.

“Eric, what apples do you want next?” He looks up at your question. “What apples, um, the sweet ones?” You nod. “The sweet ones it is,” You aren’t exactly sure what counts as a sweet apple but you know that it is not the granny smith ones. Red delicious perhaps? They’re pretty sweet.

You lead the way down the rows of trees, reading the signs to find the apple you’re looking for. You pause for a second, pulling Eric down an aisle to let a hayride pass. The two of you picking a few of the apples there and putting them into the bag, you continue on your way.

You don’t find the apples you’re looking for because you decide to go back. Eric is shivering again. “Eric,” He turns to you, an apple in his hand. “I’m getting cold, do you want to head back and get some hot chocolate or something? I think they have bunnies we could pet.”

...or, do not blaze it. the way the blazing seems to work is that unless you turn off blog-wide post blazing, you will have to check your email, notifications, or blaze menu to reject other people wanting to blaze any of your posts. so you will have the opportunity to reject someone else's blazing of your post if you get to those notifications in time, or the ability to turn it off once your post gets blazed, BUT...

a lot of my followers get hospitalized or are otherwise away from their accounts somewhat frequently, and situations like those where someone is not able to navigate their email or tumblr account for a while take a lot of consent out of this type of blazing. it is unclear how long there is between someone wanting to blaze your post and you having the opportunity to stop it.

everyone's posts are blazable by default. this is opt-out, not opt-in. if you are often away from your accounts, I recommend turning this off.

you have to turn off post blazing for each of your blogs, but then after that you are still able to make individual posts of yours blazable if you are interested.
