so, how did you guys all become friends btw?
Matilda: I’m pretty sure we all met in kindergarten, right?
Tori: Yep… And we didn’t really become friends in the most… civil manner.
Matilda: Ohh… Right. I remember.
Tori: Kindergarten, mid-year, I joined the class and I was the new kid. Ell was really nice and approached me. I was super shy as a kid so that was nice of her. We were talking about puppies when I saw Tamara in the corner of my eye. She wasn’t happy for some reason.
Tori: Turns out, Tamara was super upset because Ell was hanging out with me instead of her. She was a jealous little kid.
Tori: After Ell introduced me to Tam, she walked away from us but soon returned with a pencil.
Tori: So.. Do you know where this is going?
Matilda: Ohhh n- No actually, where is this going?
Tori: She stabbed me with a pencil.
Tori: YEAH OUCH! That hurt! It was one of the worst pains in my life! AND FOR WHAT? Just because I was talking to Ell!
Matilda: Oh wait! I remember, now. I was watching the whole thing from afar! It got pretty bloody.
Tori: Yeah… But then Ell yelled at her and Tam went to cry in a corner for 12 minutes. As for me.. Well, I had to live with this stupid mark my whole life.
Tori: Unfortunately, it never went away after that incident.
Matilda: Damn, Tamara was a savage. But wait, what happened after?
Matilda: You didn’t answer the question? How did we become friends?
Tori: I don’t know, we just did.
Matilda: Huh, I guess stabbing people with pencils does form friendships.
