Our old HR person did not track salaried employees’ hours and barely even tracked our PTO so if you worked a bunch of overtime and wanted to take a day off to compensate she’d be like “cool see ya” and since we are all salaried/overtime exempt did not track this in any way. Our new HR person is like, “Flex time should be taken in the same pay period,” which is so inconvenient, like I’m here at home when there’s all kinds of stuff I need to do at work tomorrow. Would much rather hoard it all until the end of the year and then take all of December off. I basically do not need to be in the office at all in December
