-obviously there’s fun to be had with any companion and any faction but this one is just so juicy to me

-I think they BOTH would have experienced initial distrust/concern/judgment from the team and others in general. So you’re an assassin-for-hire? Are you gonna kill me? So you’re a necromancer? Do you do weird stuff with corpses?

-So when Emmrich was like “I’m getting some weird looks from team members about my skulls!” and Rook is just like yeah they were the same about my knife collection and various poisons but you get used to it

-I think a crow rook would LOVE the idea of grave gold — Like wait you guys want to look really cunty when you die? we do the same thing but more like looking cute in case u get assassinated on the job (check out the designs for crow uniforms! these bitches are dramatic)

-Likeeee grave gold shopping in nevarra or antivan leather glove shopping in treviso are you kidding me

-Obv emmrich already wants to hear your weird crow stories to which a crow rook could be like, you wanna hear about me doing espionage and Murder??? Like for real???

-cremation discourse is so funny because I do think Rook could take Lucanis’ side too and legit be like i’m not gonna lie if my target got turned into undead i would be a little pissed i worked hard to get that guy Dead

-I think both crows and watchers kind of have similar vibes of ostentatiousness and extraness and drama. The ceremony and design and coloring of the mourn watch and the grand necropolis and the general ceremony surrounding death as a whole in Nevarra. the italianx/antivanx obsession with fine wines and leathers and needing to look like the Maker’s Cuntiest Assassin of all time and going to the knife store and having intricate designs cut into the handles of your weapons

-You can go a lot of ways with it too with maybe a disillusioned rook who doesnt even want to be an assassin and emmrich helps them to realize that or maybe a very proud and confident rook who stands on business

-I do think Emmrich will find the whole talon situation to be insane and I need to see him interact with Viago so bad

-Like him pulling rook aside one day and being like “Hey darling, so i actually think Viago making you guys build tolerances for poison is crazy and maybe not good for y’all long term” and Rook has to be like i thought everyone did that because you could get poisoned at any time! And emmrich has to be like no 🩷

-“i’m familiar with the finer points of anatomy” bitch me too. i just use them to kill people. the fuck.

-I think the mourn watch and crows both enjoy a formal expensive fancy ball/gala which is great content
