I can’t even say this to my friends without feeling like they’d kill me but holy fuck. Thank god. One less voice in the chorus of hatred.

The amount of people in my personal circles saying “he was a person! He didn’t deserve to die!” And STILL don’t talk about the people who have BEEN suffering because of gun violence and other things is. I can’t even say it. I’m so fucking sick right now.

I don’t care that he had a family. I don’t care if he was a person. Because he sure as shit didn’t. He didn’t care if trans people, Palestinians, immigrants, people of color, women, or any other marginalized group were people. Or had families. Hopes and dreams and LIVES that were taken from them too soon. He wanted them to feel unsafe in a country that prided itself on its advocacy for freedom and personal liberties. Because as someone who wasn’t apart of any of those groups, he didn’t have to face those consequences.

And with that I say good fucking riddance. Call me heartless all you want. But murdered fascists make no noise. And I’m just fine with the silence.
