my brother and his friend are at my apartment rn, they’re playing minecraft and im watching them play. his friend talked about how they took days building a mansion in minecraft and it got me thinking… this was exactly what id do in my childhood/teen years. i’d watch my brother and his friend play minecraft, it feels like nothing has changed but everything has. we will never get to be kids again playing minecraft for days straight. we have jobs and bills and we can’t spend days at each others houses anymore because we’re adults. i think we should value our time more than we do, because days and years go by so fast. i look around and i’m 11 watching my brother play games; then i blink. im still doing that, but just 10 years later.
