First Meeting:

Julian and Vivi (again typing s/i pov because it's easier on me for these posts) first meet when Vivi arrives at the CCPD with a stack of old requested books. But rather than meeting who had requested them, he has a chance meeting with the ever prickly and tense Julian Albert.

Post Alchemy Return:

After his days of absence during the kidnapping and the reveal of Julian role as Alchemy, Julian arrives late at night at Vivi's place crumbling from the weight of what has been happening and the truth of what he had done. Vivi attempts to comfort him though he's not the best of comforters. Vivi also learns that Julian has been struggling to sleep.

The Camping Trip:

After the Alchemy situation and some tensions at work, Vivi somehow convinces Julian to go on a short camping trip with him as a much needed unplugging. Julian, who is a bit more used to the spoiled life, is disgruntled to begin but slowly relaxes as the trip progresses. The two learn more about each other on this trip, even if they also bicker.

My anniversary with Julian is May 10th!

This ship is a bit messy but ultimately one of mutual healing from chaos and trauma

Ship Canon (There will be spoilers in this!!)

Vivi first meets Julian when he arrives at the CCPD precinct with the books on the deity Savitar that CCPD member, Barry Allen had requested specifically. Rather than Barry being the one to intercept them, it's Julian Albert the uptight and guarded forensic scientist who is even more reserved when he notices what research texts are being delivered. Despite his prickly and dry behavior (and being a bit taken aback by it) Vivi remains polite to him, and instructs him on how to properly care for the books and to pass this on to Barry as well since Barry was technically the one responsible for them. Julian is a bit surprised by Vivi's calm and politeness around him, but nevertheless makes no comment on such. Vivi properly introduces himself and manages to get Julian to introduce himself as well and then he leaves to continue his work for the remainder of the day.

They meet a second time when Julian arrives at the library to return the books as Barry had seemingly vanished as he seemed to be doing more lately. Julian is notably more tense, exhausted by Barry's prodding at him about Savitar and his own research, and agrees to return the books due to hoping to find a brief moment of respite should Vivi just acknowledge him the same as he did before. Vivi is surprised to see Julian again, and tries to make conversation by talking of how well cared for the books are as well as how interesting the subject is to him given he doesn't know much on that particular branch of mythos. Though as he notices Julian's tension grow at the topic he steers the conversation to more casual things. While Julian only gives short or dry answers, he seems to relax a bit.

Vivi becomes aware of more specifics of Julian's job through seeing a newscast that lists Julian specifically as the main consultant and forensics of a recent meta incident case. He grows even more curious about him but decides to allow Julian space given how guarded and reserved he seemed to be, he wanted to give him the space to decide if he wanted to return or not.

And Julian does. With request for more books, this time more sporadic as far as topic, a bit of a shaky seeming excuse to come back to the library. Vivi doesn’t pry, just acknowledges his request, helping him through the library to find the topics he requested. Vivi tries to make conversation and ask a bit more casual conversation in an attempt to fill the silence, after a bit, Julian begins to slowly give in. In his following weeks of visits, the two discuss "safe" topics, usually topics of interest, finding that they both hold an interest in common studies, namely science (even if different branches). This allows the two to flow into more honest, and even loose conversations when they are together.

Eventually there is a gap of absence where Vivi suddenly does not see Julian. He can't help but worry but simply waits for him to hopefully return. One night during this span of a few days, Julian arrives, though something is off with him. Enough that Vivi notices though he's not entirely sure what is up. Julian speaks far more harshly and acts in a way he never had before in front of Vivi. Vivi is stubborn in staying despite this and eventually Julian simply suddenly leaves into the night in a rush.

When Julian does return days later, Vivi is more wary but then notices the state that he is is and lets go of his wariness, his concern for him taking over. In his state of shock over the things he had had happen over the spam of the past few days as well as the revelation that he was being puppeted around as Alchemy, Julian speaks a bit more vulnerably and openly than usual. He's more openly bitter, angry and distressed and while while Vivi is unsure how to help (As well as shocked at what Julian had went through in such short time) he stays, not wanting to abandon Julian in such a low moment. This helps them understand each other a small bit more and trust each other a bit more.

After this it takes many days of convincing but given Julian's lingering guilt and distress, Vivi attempts to get him agree to a very short trip, he eventually agrees though a bit reluctantly. Vivi suggests a camping trip because then they could be away from the city as well as amongst enough distractions to keep them relaxed a bit more perhaps. Julian is a bit bitter at the beginning of the trip, not necessarily having been camping in such a rough way (even his expedition for the stone was hotel stays mostly) but eventually the two grow a bit more open and have moments of unintentional vulnerability with each other. They are in a sort of odd in between. Amorous in some way but nothing official or fully noticed happening between them.

They return a bit more at ease, though this unfortunately doesn't last long as Julian returns to some tensions amongst Team Flash. Vivi is unaware of the things that occur (namely the attempts at using Julian as a Savitar mouthpiece) until a week or so later when while at Julian's apartment, he opens up a bit about the situation, and is surprised that Vivi seems concerned and upset on his behalf.

The two continue to meet more regularly and speak more regularly, slowly opening up more and more to each other, learning and remembering more of each other while unable to cross any sort of lines.

When the betrayal by Caitlin happens, Julian is quite hurt and angered given the circumstances surrounding it. He goes to Vivi's apartment unannounced in a need for respite and familiar company he could trust. But when he arrives he is met with Vivi's unconscious form, and his visit quickly becomes an emergency hospital trip.

Vivi is quite weak and ill still by the time he wakes, and is quite surprised to find Julian asleep in the chair beside his hospital bed. Vivi's stirring accidentally wakes Julian, and the two have a true, fully vulnerable discussion together.

A week or two after Vivi has recovered, the two make the decision to attempt a romantic relationship despite both of their lack of romantic socialization so to speak. They fumble quite a lot and are awkward as hell but stick to it and a few weeks into the relationship, Vivi is introduced more properly to Team Flash and becomes known as a civilian of interest as well as one Julian may go out of his way to try to protect should it come to that.

(Rather than the quick write off the show writer's gave him) Julian after leaving Team Flash, discreetly remains in Central City with Vivi, settling into a somewhat quieter life with him.

My anniversary with Brandon is June 18th!

This ship involves some heavy topics but it is ultimately about mutual healing and finding oneself. Hurt/Comfort if you will

Ship Canon:

(Note: Vivi does not move into town until after the canon events of the movie)

Brandon and Vivi meet by chance, though it was inevitable in a town such as this where everyone seems to know each other and each other's lives. The two are a bit stricken by each other, both finding the other to be much different than who was typically around this place. They talk, albeit a bit awkwardly until Vivi leaves on his way, having been trying to get to work.

Brandon eventually sees Vivi again when he goes to the plant nursery in order to get a few things to plant out front of his mother's house that he had more recently moved into. Vivi is surprisingly receptive to seeing him again, immediately beginning conversation with him again. This is a bit shocking to Brandon who was used to the more stern or more nosy people of this town. Reluctant at first, he begins to speak more, relaxing a bit into the conversation.

This continues, the two seeing each other at various places through town and speaking, though over time Vivi notices how tense Brandon becomes when others see the two of them speaking freely together, though he doesn't quite understand. Not until small grazes and accidentally moments of closeness and flirtation occur and Brandon seems to shut down at it. Vivi realizes that Brandon is struggling with himself in some form.

Though the two attempt to sidestep their growing feelings, it inevitably continues to grow and seeing each other still feels inevitable. The more intimacy that happens whether intentionally or not, Brandon grows tense, even when the two are in privacy and he says things that makes Vivi realize he is struggling with internalized shame towards himself and his sexuality. Vivi gives him the space that he needs though he does make attempts to reassure him. (More details of this part to be added eventually I am being lazy)

Over time the two become more an official couple. With each other in private, at least. Brandon soon seems to relax a bit more, allowing himself to explore such feelings privately and Vivi respects this. Their relationship also allows the two of them to explore the parts of themselves that they typically cannot, the more odd or eccentric parts of themselves that they otherwise hid due to outside pressures.
