Yeah, sometimes! But I think that's just a natural part of story writing, you'll always look back and think "I could've done this better".

But also, I think it provides a fun challenge too! Like, how do I continue to make this work under the current circumstances? Maybe it could even make things more interesting by trying to work with it rather than against it!

I also think it's important to remember too that retconning isn't a crime. Like if you'd feel much happier retconning something, than do it! It's fine! Maybe some people will complain but no one's gonna come arrest you for it.
