And here are my pieces for The Enchanted World of Miyazaki: Tribute Show!!

It was such a wild weekend with such an incredible turnout of people and I got to meet so many of them (although I’m sorry if I missed you; I was only there for certain times). I’m extremely honored that I was able to be a part of such an experience as my first time as a part of a gallery! There was a lot of love and effort put into it and I can’t thank everyone who put it together and made it possible enough. And thank you so much if you were able to make it and I’m sorry to those who couldn’t.

So sorry for the delay!(Snarky comments? Really? O.O)

You gave me a bit of a head scratch if i’m honest :D I only found a few words:- le dépaysement: the good feeling you have when you’re far from home, far from your country and nothing looks the same or feels the same.- déjà-vu: the feeling you have of an event that you feel already happened. Also means a situation or an event that is redundant and quite too much seen before (for example the “lady killed to give man-pain to the hero” trope)- jamais-vu: a situation or an event that never happened before and is sensational or exceptional- une bérézina: a severe set-back, a defeat- l’apéro: short for “l’apéritif” which is the time before going to diner where you and your friends/family enjoy some downtime, chatting, drinking and eating. Usually it involves alcohol (beer, pastis, rosé) and finger food (saucisson, olives, cheese, chips, canapés)- most of the culinary vocabulary (for example “crème brûlée”, “fondant au chocolat”, “brigade”) which leads me to a particular point…

THIS is a “plat au four”

Which literally means “dish in the oven”. Then each dish has its own name. Above is a “gratin dauphinois”

So, for the words, i’m sorry it’s a short list. Guys, don’t hesitate to add the ones i missed!

Also, Anon, if you come across one of the words you feel like they’re only in dictionnary and not really used, let us know. Maybe they are used in a specific context :)
