I think its time i gave Sphalerite a girlfriend.

Shes Blue Obsidian, and together they form Black Opal. 

Blue obsidian’s gem is crescent shaped in her head, protruding like horns. Her weapon is covering those horns in thick plated armor, like an angry metal bull. 

Blue Obsidian is a little bit of a bitch, and she will not hesitate to kick anybodies ass. That said, shes also very loyal, goofy, and fun to be around, but sometimes shes a little bit emo. If she had a blog she would be Darkness Dementia Raven Way for sure, filling it with anime gifs, pictures of cats, and screaming into the void. 

Black Opal is a combination of Sphalerite and Blue Obsidian’s worst traits. She is highly insecure, keeping her armor drawn constantly. She is bossy, vengeful, and cries at literally everything. She looks intimidating, but if you tried to fight her she would probably cry as she was trying to hit you, but miss every time because she cant see through her tears. She formed only once, when the above happened, fell apart after 30 seconds and never formed again. 

This isnt to say that Sphalerite and Blue Obsidian are bad for each other, they just tend to open each other up, down to the ugly bits. When they are not formed as Black Opal, they are extremely loving, and understanding of each other. They can sit and talk for eternity and find true peace in each other’s company. They help each other grow emotionally in positive ways, being almost therapeutic. Sometimes in therapy though, you have to face the things keeping you down, which is what goes wrong in fusion. Its just too intense for them.
