Hello, hello, and hello! I've noticed that when it comes to COTL art, I tend to analyse Narilamb art, but I'm trying to give some love to the less popular characters, such as Kallamar. Honestly, this artwork is as good a one to start with as anything else, and I'm willing to give it a spin. Also! The characterisation, lighting, and environment are spot on.

Kallamar, in the artwork, seems to have been caught off guard because of the air bubbles and the shock in his eyes, as if he were picking up seaweed in peace with his tentacles. Sorry! To a certain extent, it's a vulnerable moment, you know, a one-to-one moment, which was not meant to be seen, not from a bishop at least. It's something that grounds the moment.

And we couldn't be talking about grounding without the environment, right? The bottom of the sea is void of colour, filled to the brim with human waste, a living underwater ecosystem, and the varied species of fish. Keenly, the water has no fish, besides Kallamar himself. And I think that's the point, to put the attention on him, and nothing else in the environment.

Now! We get to my favourite part, which I have been dying to talk about, and it's the lighting. Look at it! I love the way the sunlight reflects on the water's surface, how the water pierces the water like a beam, and fades to the bottom. It enhances the focus on Kallamar's expression and the upper body, which are highlighted by the lighting. Lighting is so hard, but so important.

Lastly, to summarise, I think the artwork as a whole is a good example of how to connect the character to the environment and tell a story, which we, as the viewer, can fill in the blanks with. Hiya! I've found something fun to reflect upon, a triptych fan artwork. To put it bluntly, a triptych is an artwork with three divided panels, such as three portraits. My favourite example of a triptych is the Garden of Earthly Delights by Jheronimus Bosch. Google it! However, in my opinion, this fan art is trying to express gratitude for the actual game. Let me explain!

The centre panel is generally the core message in a triptych; here, it's the Lamb laughing with the viewer. I wouldn't have it any other way. The core of the Cult of the Lamb is joy, laughter, and engagement, as when you start the game, it's hard to drop it. Sleep is for the weak! And as the Lamb is the playable character, it fits for them to be at the centre, as they are the core, what we play as, and in which we experience the world.

On the left, we have the goat, which is a fitting spot for them, as we generally read from left to right, and it sometimes can be the beginning of a triptych. Depends. In this artwork, I believe you are meant to read the flow from the centre to left to right, like a winner's podium. Honestly, the Goat's awe in the night feels fitting, as it reminds me of playing with a friend till noon, forgetting that time exists. And the shading is breathtaking, just the reflection on the Goat's ear is wonderful.

As mentioned, on the right, we have the newest member of the game, Yngya, who smiles for the camera. Unfortunately, I can't speak much about the newest DLC, as I haven't played it… I will make the time for it. However! From an artistic perspective, I appreciate how the triptych's colours create a sense of balance. The warm colour at the centre, and the colder hues at the sides, make for a visually satisfying colour choice.

So? We learned about the triptych as a style, reflected on the meaning behind the art, and appreciated the detail of colour. If I were to summarise the artwork, I would say that it's an excellent showcase of showing gratitude for something like a game. It shows a story. And what else could you ask from art? Hello, hiya, and hi! Totally not me stumbling over my words while talking about an art piece with a queen. Slay! The Lamb in the poster is dangerous, untouchable, and fashionable, silencing all the critics with a single glance, if you ask me. There are key artistic choices that make the Lamb into a baddie, such as the flavour text, fashion choices, and the pose.

Yes, the flavour text is part of the universal trend rules, but it is worth opening up what makes the flavour text meaningful and sells the fantasy. "This Lamb is death" as a text fading to the background is a good hook, and it is composed asymmetrically on the left side, which is where we as humans generally tend to look at first, because we usually read from top left to bottom right. Additionally, the rest of the bottom text is good at grounding the art due to the really nice flow with the composition, which I can't put into words.

Now, who am I kidding? I have to explain the flow I see in the composition. Our eyes are naturally drawn towards the top left corner, which is the starting point of the flow. Secondly, we catch the contrast between the Lamb's white wool and the earthy background. Honestly, I have to admit, but my eyes always follow the black collar bell down the Lamb's back… What a tease. And as I previously said, the bottom text grounds the composition, and makes it a whole. The pose and the smoke are a good choice in aiding with the compositional flow.

Anyhow! I have to admit that this artwork, part of the trend, has unique traits. For example… The wrist doesn't have the golden bracelet as it is tacky. But that is not all! Additionally, the Lamb in this artwork has the crown as an earring, a customised smoker, and bells at the end of the black collar. These are excellent add-ons because they add character.

I strongly believe that the trend has set universal rules for the artwork, which makes it less interesting to analyse an alternative artwork on the same trend. This is why I love the wedding trend. There are so many unique takes on the original artwork, and there is plenty of space for creativity. Still, I think the trend and this artwork are excellent for the compositional flow and creative decisions. And who knows, maybe I will analyse another model poster trend. Greetings! I'm here with a post that made me stop scrolling and reminded me of an important matter: taking breaks. Take a second to breathe… Thank yourself for doing that because we live in a world of constant fluxuation, and it is important to take that second to breathe. As you may tell, this artwork came to me at the right moment, and it accomplished the task of slowing down the viewer with simple tricks.

Firstly, the movement, animation, and changes in animation are simple yet effective, with five moving parts: Shamura's legs, knitting, yarn, Shamura's eyes, and the text. It's small, but noticeable. These animations are meant to be casual, as a way of making the viewer stop to comprehend the movement, such as the blinking of the eyes. Shamura plays the role of a moving stimulus, and the contrast with the Goat is comedy.

Secondly, the contrast between the two is important. The way the Goat sleeps with their mouth open, a hint of a blush, and blankness inside their head is marvellous. Shamura works away. However, we as the viewer should be partaking in what the Goat is doing, stopping to rest our eyes for a brief second or an hour. Please, check the animation in the source!

Thirdly, the message is vital. Yes, Shamura's animations are the hook, but the Goat and the message above are what the viewer stays for. Or I did. It's a clear message, which is bound to make you act accordingly, as long as you let it sink in. And it helps that the text moves like a wave, something that we can associate with the coastal beaches.

Hiya! Today's artwork is an illusion, a dream of a dance, which is a yearning that comes from the heart. But on a certain level, I can't decide whether it's an illusion or reality. It feels real and fading. My personal knowledge of the Death's Attendant au is nonexistent, which I should have researched beforehand, but every great artwork can stand on its own feet.

The royal purple environment is a mystery, something fading, unstable, and surreal, surrounding the lovers in a fleeting moment. The last dance, in a place of their own. It's a place where the sun doesn't reach, as the only source of light comes from the eyes, the window of the soul, a burning one. Crimson red eyes. Yet, for the Lamb, it is as if a moment of horror, witnessing the last drop of light before it all vanishes. Pow!

Before it ends, there's a crucial question to be asked: Who is leading the dance? It's a passing moment for both of them, and the Lamb grips onto Narinder, not wanting to lose him for any cost, but it appears that Narinder has accepted it a long time ago, loosely holding the Lamb's waist, as if lacking the strength to hold it. Yet, it's all he can do. It's horrifying to think, but it might be the last time the Lamb gets to see Narinder.

The Sin knows. Narinder is below the waist, merely a ghost, losing grip with the ground that used to hold him steady, and now, he is becoming nothing but the sound of the wind. Swish. The essence of his soul, body, and mind are winding with the wind, all pieces of him, which are breaking. Even the soul in his eyes is fleeting, a moment, which the Lamb is witnessing.

Lastly, I have to say this, but the artist is evil for torturing the viewer. We are seeing it in a perfectly balanced square, which generally means stability from an analysis perspective, when I want to cry, as if priming us to accept it. Additionally, not giving us a hint of what Narinder might be feeling is cruel. Is he feeling sorrow, anger, or acceptance? Even a reflection in Lamb's eyes would have been so satisfying, getting a glimpse of what could be going on inside Narinder's head. However, I think that is the artistic goal. QwQ. Greetings! I would love to take a minute to appreciate another breathtaking work of art. And this artwork is based on the wedding trend, which has captured hearts and minds, like mine. Well, I think I might be a massive sucker for romantic wedding portraits like this, not for the cute photo, but for the royal frame itself. Please! Look at the effort in detail! (Yes... The frame looks like a premade asset, but let me have my fun!)

Oh. My. God! The portrait is golden, nature's leaves are abundant, and royal aesthetics cover it with shining hope. Honestly, it belongs in a real museum. It is a magnificent frame; if I could touch it, it would feel like the texture of a strawberry between the leaves, like seedpouches on the skin. Although I could not mention the asymmetrical leaves, which crave to escape the boundaries, but are stuck inside the frame. They should freely blossom. 

Additionally, admire the outside layer of the frame, those unnecessary extra-large flowers. Those are flowers, right? Anyways! It is fitting for two royal lovers to use such a baffling extra on a single painting because it is in character for them; it shows the extreme wealth, dedication to each other, and meaning that comes from true love. Gosh! I wish the quality were higher, so I could truly zoom in on each unique wrinkle...

I promise! This is the last time I am going to be gushing about the frame, but listen to this one teeny little part. Please... The golden leaves/vines on the side of the artwork connect the frame to the rest of the wonderful painting, which gives it a thematic red line. Flowers are always pretty. Unfortunately, the Lamb's flora is difficult to decipher; the light is blinding. Still! 

It's time! What all of you have been waiting for, the lovers, I have a simple word in mind. Slay. The lamb is a symbol of light, purity, and softness, the round curls of the wool, the pure white of an elite, and the light shines on them. But Narinder is a void. The dark red, black, and deep gold suck the light into them, creating this wonderful contrast between them. Gosh! Greetings, dear reader. I've found in my hours of Tumblr scrolling a stunning piece of homage to an old classic, made with careful decisions. The Swing (Fragonard) is a masterpiece from the Rococo art era, a time that emphasised light-heartedness. It's a delightful artwork to appreciate. The original oil painting depicts a glamorous woman on a swing, surrounded by her lover and a layman, but the COTL version has key differences, which make it unique.

I will not analyse the original oil painting by Fragonard, but I will compare the COTL version and give my honest opinion. For example! What has Voidheartkisses added to the COTL version to make it stand on its own, and what has been removed? Every artwork is unique. These are crucial questions to ask because, as a practice of comprehending artistic intent, finding meaning in the small details is paramount.

Let's start with the main event! The lamb is a star, holding the centre of attention. And! I love the attention to detail as the Lamb is holding an identical handhold, smile, and posture like the woman in the original artwork. However, the giant collar bell is a perfect add-on as it adds to the Rococo orientations, something playfully new. Although I'm a bit ashamed that the flimsy high heels are gone in the COTL version, I do think it fits the Lamb better to be barefoot, but some of the playfulness is lost in that decision.

And darlings, I'm not done with the criticism, but what's the deal with Narinder? Wouldn't it have been more dramatic if Narinder lay against the ground, at the mercy of the Lamb, and reflecting the nature of their relationship after the good ending of COTL? I feel like Narinder is a supporting character in the background, which the Goat literally is in the game if you have a duo, aiding the Lamb to reach new heights! Lastly, Narinder should be more in the shade; the brown rope against the white rope is so distracting, in my opinion. Gosh! Aren't I just awful?

Still, I have to praise the art, but I appreciate how most of the eyes are on the Lamb, just as the crowns, the Goat, and Narinder's third eye. It adds a level of weight. The contrast between Narinder's third eye and the rest of the face is excellent, as it seems like Narinder is playing tough, not looking at the main event, but darling, who can ignore a catch like that? In the original oil painting, everyone looks at the woman, just like in the COTL version, with a key difference from Narinder.

Yes, The Swing (Cult of the Lamb version) is a stunning artwork that, for the most part, is a pleasure because of what has been added to the original work to make a COTL version. Yeah, I have my nitpicks, primarily with the roles of the Goat and Narinder. But it's The Swing! How can I diss on any version of it? Before we start! I would love for you to take a second to admire the artistic craft on the nature, as it is simple, yet effective. The grass is streaks of colour like blocks, the trees are from a fairy tale, and the leaves themselves are strings that have been moulded by shading. It's a pleasure to appreciate. Aren't you a tragic scene? The words of a friend, lover, or family member are always the most longing to a grave, waiting on a miracle to regain what lives in the memories… Yes, they are only memories in our minds. The darkness that surrounds them is a sign that darkness will consume the two of them once they separate QwQ

The memories of them together are tears in the river, reflecting the memories of their past that will haunt them in their sleep. It's the warm smile of a friend, the place in the community that we once felt, and the words of affirmation, which make life as messy as it is. The tears in the river will disappear, but the memories will seep onto the land and grow the tree, which guards something so precious.

I can only hope that the light will carry on the soul to a safer place, where anyone can feel a sense of peace. Yes, the light might shine on the Lamb, but the grave itself shines under the radiance as it seeps between the tree canopies. It's a hopeful yet tragic scene from a piece of visual media, tugging at the heartstrings of a viewer. May you rest in peace…

Aren't you trying to get into a copyright fight with Sleeping Beauty, who is the most tired of them all? Honestly… There's nothing more loving than having your hand in your lover's bloody ribcage that has been hollowed out of the supple flesh, working muscles, and beating organs that make us fragile. It's empty, waiting to be filled with the warm embrace of a lover.

In keeping with tradition, admire the mastered craft… Note the detail of the bone tissue: the deliberate use of dark shading, the haunting structural realism, and that silky, porcelain smoothness unique to a fresh carcass. The blood coils to the ribs. The artwork is a form of flexing, the talent of composition for the bonestructure, taking the forefront, and the delight of revelling in the gore. It's a test of practised skill, sharp wit, and twisted creativity.

On a personal level, I can stomach a fair amount of gore, and this is relatively mild, but I find it oddly endearing how they are sleeping in a Minecraft bed. The contrast is a form of pure comedy, something light, to disarm the viewer from something that would be objectively horrifying to wake up to. It's a classic joke as well, putting the Minecraft beds together. And I could be reading it wrong, that this is not a Minecraft bed, but the reference seems too much on the noise.

And the red Minecraft bed adds a symbolic layer to the artwork. Have you noticed it? The mattress is small, something that was clearly made for the slim Lamb, but not for someone as bulky as Narinder. He barely fits in there, genuinely, if he wasn't all curled up to the Lamb, he wouldn't have comfortable sleeps at night to put it nicely. And it begs the question, does the Lamb not consider Narinder's needs, prioritising their own?

Lastly, the character acting is quite one-sided. Narinder is the one giving his whole body for the Lamb, willing to provide everything just for their comfort. And what does Narinder get in return? Eyecandy? Not a bad trade deal to put it bluntly, but the fact that your ribcage is used as a form of sleeping aid is horrifying; I might be reading too much into the artwork, but I hope you enjoyed reading my analysis. Hey! I was scrolling through Tumblr when I came across this piece of art that I have to share with the rest of the internet. It's simple, cute, and wonderful. The artwork is like jumping into a soft bed after a long day, resting your eyes to enjoy a wonderful craft in environmental storytelling and character acting. All it needs is a splash of appreciation!

Who doesn't like playfighting between lovers? It is corny for Narinder to pull a modern piece of equipment out of nowhere in a fantasy setting, but the contrast between the threat and the environment is comedic. So adorable! And I do think the scene is playful based on the broad swing of an attack, the hesitancy to defend one's pride, and the colourful background. However, the background is doing the heavy lifting.

The room looks lived in. This is a hard task for a lot of artists, bringing an environment alive isn't an easy task, and it is based on the characters, like what they would do in there, would they clean it, and what would be just something that they would do in there? Besides NSFW, cough! For example, there are yarn balls, books, flowers, anything soft, and stars, which make the room their own.

Take a second to appreciate the attention to detail! The curtains look flowy thanks to the use of varied line weights, the yarn balls aren't just copies of each other, and the books have the kind of notes any reader would make. I would have loved it if the pages were a little ripped—as if they had been used a thousand times. But I’d be lying if I didn’t point out how effective the flowers, simple shading, colours, and line art are. Flowers are such a simple yet powerful way of making a room feel lived-in.

Lastly, the perspective is slightly tilted, making us unbalanced, which gears our eyes towards Narinder, who is making a deadly move. This is a simple yet effective choice in manipulating our field of view. It was important for me to bring up, as I haven't analysed enough works based on their use of perspective. Hey~ It's great to see you in this post because we are admiring an artwork, where the characters touch grass, and so should we, just a healthy reminder. However, let's appreciate the flourishing life in the canvas. The trees are mighty, the moss is wild, and the flora is spreading in Mother Nature's kingdom, where the imagination runs wild. Nature is an everyday inspiration for good and evil.

The parasites sucking the living life out of tree trunks are abundant and large, having grown fat over the years of consumption. Yuck! The moss can be a parasite, but you know it's bad when the moss itself has a large, round, and living parasite spreading across the surface like a vein… It's the natural order! In my opinion, when an artist makes a background or place dirty, overgrown, or realistic, it is a sign of affection towards the craft, such as adding parasites to a nature portrait.

And I can't go without saying the obvious, but look at the detail! Why the fack has the artist individual brushed the moss, parasites, flora, canopies, and trunks? I see the highlight the artist added for the round, bulgy, and veiny parasites as if that was a top priority! That's a disgusting level of dedication, and I love it! And have you taken a moment to appreciate the actual trees? I'm speechless!

Additionally, the level of depth manipulation is breathtaking, as to my count, there are five major layers. Firstly, the black flowers in the corners, as if we are hunting the characters. Secondly, the massive log. Thirdly, the background trees, growing towards the sky, with even larger parasites. And lastly, the faraway trees and the haunting blue background make the level of perception a whole. These effective layers make Narinder, Sin, and the Lamb tiny compared to the surrounding environment, which looks massive due to the effective use of depth manipulation.

Aw! Narinder looks adorable, as if walking for the first time in a forest like a baby that was born and lived in a city, mesmerised, scared, and awed by the magnitude of Mother Nature. You know if you know. Honestly, the Lamb has walked the same path a thousand times, as if it were a daily routine, walking Sin in the forest like a dog. Splash! Swosh! Slat! The colours, light, and shades pop out from the moody background like fireworks in the night sky! Everything behind the two lovebirds is like static noise compared to the adorable plushies at the forefront, which, beyond being eyecandy, also serve to draw the eyes towards the two gods. And aren't they having fun~ 

The two of them are glued to each other like typical lovers; it's sickeningly sweet, and a form of toxic to a lonely heart. Adorable... The two of them lean against each other, trusting not to fall; the Lamb is holding his hands over Narinder's hands, guiding them, and the third eye won't let the Lamb out of sight. And as I admire the character action, I cannot help but adore the talented fabric work. 

Do you know how hard it is to draw a leather jacket that reflects the source of light in a believable way? I couldn't! And it's not just the jacket, but the hoodie, plushies, and every surface has been thoughtfully crafted to fit the environment like something as small as Narinder's necklace. I see the necklace eye looking towards the Lamb as well! 

I do think that the light source, the arcade machine, is a bit on the nose, but I can't help but smile at that creative choice because the light is doing the heavy lifting for the work as a whole. Genuinely! I doubt this work would be as compelling as it is if it weren't for the claw machine being the source of light, like, for example, a lamp, the Valentine's Day sign, or the claw itself. 

Valentine's Day at the back feels like it's against a piece of glass, which encapsulates the lovers in their own paradise. Old Faith, New Love. God! Everything feels like it has been crafted to pump out dopamine with every glance! This is genuinely one of my personal favourite works I've taken a moment to appreciate. It's a beautiful day to get married, as the sun pours over us, the florets bloom, and the cheers fill the air because it's a day that all of us have been waiting for an eternity, when the Lamb and Narinder get married, a bond of trust, love, and unity. And wouldn't this redraw be the finest painting of it? Which is why the strength of this artwork lies in the vivid flowers, intricate details, and colourful cohesion. Let's dive in! 

The major difference in the character acting that I would like to point out is the obvious third eye, as always, showing what Narinder is truly interested in, and what roams his mind rent-free. Baa! However, this small detail, of the third eye, is crucial for communicating the intent, focus, and point of the art, as otherwise, it wouldn't be able to lean as hard as it has on the perfect flower utopia, a dream wedding. It's also super cute. 

Now, could we take a moment to appreciate the flowers? Please...

Thank you for appreciating the blooms! They are worth every second of your divine attention, like mine, because they have been handcrafted, not copypasted, but each carefully thought out before placement. Honestly, without that level of dedication, I doubt this artwork would be as impactful. In my mind, the stupid level of attention to any background affairs is a form of commitment to any art, a foundational piece that elevates a piece of work to a new level. 

Overall! I would say that this is an excellent piece of work done with care, engagement, and commitment that feels authentic as it can, and this is why it's important to celebrate the work of living artists in a new era of holloweness, artificiality, and consumerism. Illari, Winter Guardian, for an uninspiring name for a battlepass skin, it's a source of fresh mountain air. Take a moment to appreciate it. It stands proudly in Illari's skin collection, which is mostly warm like the sun, fitting for her, and it gets a bit repetitive when there isn't much variation to reimagine the character. Breathtaking. Most importantly, the skin takes advantage of Illari's strengths, making for a high-tier skin, which reimagines the last child of the sun as the remnants of a frozen kingdom, a kingdom that shines in the frozen hellscape where the sun doesn't shine. 

Illari skins need to get the most out of her cape, gun, and head, which are, in my mind, the vital points of her unique design, from top to bottom. Winter Guardian's head is fabulous. The Sabre Teeth, frozen body, magical tattoos, crystal eyes, and white hair tell me more about the character's culture, history, and powers than a description; it's art that speaks for itself. Especially as the tattoos, eyes, and the cape glow in the dark, highlighting how the Winter Guardian is the light in the darkness of a frozen world, like the cold tundra of the northern lights, but she shines the brightest. Brr! 

The best part is that I genuinely dislike skins that contradict the base abilities, but in this case, I love it. It's the small sun in the gun. The small, unnoticeable detail on the gun is what saves the skin from tarnishing its value due to the connective tissue of a small sun encased inside the weapon, and maybe, the magical tattoos, traditional marks, and frozen powers have something to do with it, like the sun is frozen inside the gun. I love this skin. It's genuinely wonderful that they made this skin because I thought that Blizzard had given up on making quality battlepass skins, but the passion still lives. And the best part is, this is a EPIC skin, not a legendary! I'm proud to call this a S-tier skin. 

Alright! The best Echo recoloured skin, Phoenix, has joined the reviews, showing the terribly Strawberry recolour how it's done, done, done. And in my mind, it's better than Kacchia, which is a high bar to cross; unfortunately, it has certain unacceptable flaws built into its design that drag the Phoenix across the mud. It genuinely makes a mockery of the legend that is the Phoenix. Cash grab...

So, the skin itself is an improvement on the Kacchie base form for a single reason, and it's the mask, which I moaned, whimpered, and whined about, and Phoenix solves that said issue. What could I possibly complain about this recolour? The design is cohesive from head to claws, dramatic for a freely soaring bird, and builds on the strengths of Kacchi. Well... There is a tiny, teeny, small issue with Echo, and all her non-white, blue, and grey skins are off-putting because the abilities are made from neon blue hardlight, and as you may guess, it doesn't match the skin at all. It's truly a shame. 

Recolours of existing skins are inherently cheaper as they are generally a way of charging the consumer 19 euros, taking advantage of whales, who can't stop themselves, enabling a malicious business practice. Don't buy digital skins... I pray that you got this skin out of a legendary lootbox for free because it has all the hallmarks of a high-tier skin, but I won't let a cash grab stand toe to toe with the real deal, Kacchi. That's why the skin belongs in the C-tier. (Can you tell that I'm not a fan of microtransactions?) 

Aaah, yes, Kkachi, every Echo main go-to skin, but a bit overrated. I get it! It's a good costume of her cosplaying as Kkachi, fitting for her nature. Blue and white are her colours for a reason, fitting for all her animations. Birds are a compelling design idea for a flying character, and her uncanny bodypropotions support it. The bird-like feet are a nice touch, but I'm still a little disappointed with the skin and the community. Hold your pitchforks! Let me explain, please... 

What's the deal with that Mask? It's an eyesore to put it nicely, as everything in the costume is cohesive from the idea to execution. Did they forget the mask on? Honestly, a redesign of this skin with a less on-the-nose design for the head would be a killer. It's this --- close to perfection, but it fumbles the bag at the finish line! Why? It genuinely bothers me when every Echo player uses Kkachi when there's a superior skin. Right. There. Surf's Up!
