I posted this on my main Twitter, and I did not expect it got many attention! Thank you! I wanted to share here as well. I am forever loving this headcanon dancing together flashback thingy. I have so many imaginations about it including Estelle Opera House overall.

Two years later, finally I active this main art blog here (but wont be 24/7). I'm now in new hyperfixation: Lies of P!!!!

I'll update my bio later. I'm not on laptop, and I dont know how to edit it in my phone. I'm now 28 years old 😆 Not 26.

And now I'm absolutely busy 100% IRL. Expect lots of my art will be messy sketchy & rarely colour. Especially I'm in animation industry; a fast paced industry that sucked my energy mentally and creatively+ I'm in storyboard field; LOTS of sketches galore!

2nd & 3rd drawing is for Lies of P art contest, in which I dont expect to win, just enter for fun and release stress drawing! 1st drawing is my first time drawing P pre-game release.

Let's talk about the spoiler drawings (I dont have anyone to gush to other than my two colleagues at work 😭);

1 is drew in form of storyboard animatic shot (just imagine fanon's extended version of cutscene or whatsoever 😆)

2 is originally wanted to draw Romeo & P waltzing, and titled it "But I'm not him". Sadly, I was exhausted from work. So able to share WIP screenshot it.

Shipping them for the first time that I never thought my childhood self would realize!

“Idyll”, an extremely happy, peaceful, or picturesque period or situation, typically an idealized or unsustainable one. 

Based on Carl Larrson’s “Idyll” (1901).

This idea was previously for entering “Classics... but Make it Gay” zine project, but I didn’t get in; which that is okay! Since at that around time suddenly got busy. 

But I’ve been drawing with similar themes and ideas for long time now so I’m gonna draw my ocs from webcomic Veil and Liang with it! And not gonna lie, this is one of arts that I’m proud of the most. //tears

Also, I finally use Clip Studio Paint fully!

Oh and since we’re in June month, Happy Pride month!

Somewhere around April 2020, childhood hit me too hard like I’ve been hit by a truck. 

Megaman Zerooooooo (or Megaman in general, but MMZ is the first time I got exposed to when I was 7 or 8 or 9 y/o idk I forgot my age when)

I suddenly immediately draw my ocs from my webcomic into MMZ design. 

Can’t wait to draw back MMZ fanarts. Sad I didn’t archive my old drawings from 2000s, during pencil & paper era. :”D

I feel overwhelmed to post my current drawings in any social media, including here. 

Because there’s a lot: updating my latest story art portfolio, job hunting, and then side impromptu project is in the making for my fave video game’s anniversary next year! Resulting during those inbetweens, I drew new stuff. 

I’ll try not to bombard too much in one post. I’ll post one by one!

Last month I (illegally) watched Raya & the Last Dragon (because we don’t have Disney+.) 

I don’t think I want to write again what I feel about Raya; as a Malaysian from Malaysia, one of Southeast Asia countries. But I’ll try my best to summarize.

This very quick sketch from last month, is my spite after watch it. :”) here just basic baju Melayu, one of Malay traditional clothes. On her head is tengkolok, on her waist is sampin. Srikandi means heroine/warrior woman. Why I chose this outfit? Well look at her fighting scenes and she’s gay to Namaari. I like her to wear masculine clothes. Hope I can explore more of THIS Raya I did when I have freetime. 

The story is kinda okay, enjoyable, generic-ly normal IF we put SEA rep aside. The only good thing about Raya to me are FIGHT SCENES <3 and that homoerotic tension between Raya and Namaari. 

Overall, aint pat Didknee’s back for doing the bare minimum there. Even the old concept arts looked like they’re more to East Asia than SEA. Mouse Corporate invest their money to R&D and this is what they produced??? If they didn’t market SEA rep so hard + media didn’t put Didknee on pedestal, then we’re still okay I guess. :/

OR, pick one of SEA countries’ fairytales and we’re hype regardless??? Each SEA countries have lots of diverse fairytales about princesses and deities???? (AND DONT LET ME START ON SISU DRAGON) 

Oh welp, past is in the past.

Harith the forest spirit/forest fairy/god of earth/everything inbetween oc! Finally finished this overdue artwork from last year 😭 not my proud piece tbh but I get it out regardless. Also I can turn it into tarot card, like I did on Voltron fanart long ago. //Oh when I have time to do my OCs in tarot card style 😭 In my fantasy AU webcomic version, he's one of Devvas. He's the Devva (God) of Earth who's in charge of "beginnings and endings, death and rebirth". Dewa or Deva literally means God/deity but put double "v" like Dewa. Thus, Devva. I think my classmates or the ones who watched my final year project thesis film animation know who's he; altho he only appears in Prologue, and not in full form of this.

How many alternate clothes I have given to them xD

To avoid artblock, had to do something. Thus, here comes imagining what would Veil look like wearing Kawarasian clothes while adding Raed motifs (his birthplace) traditional pattern (not a great motifs designer myself ToT). 

While Liang is pretty straightfoward; he’s Chinese, a kind emperor who rule his beloved Yangtze Kingdom (tho I’m pretty sad why I chose that name w/o doing research first... One of reasons I hate tight deadlines. :/ Alas just gotta go with it the book has been self-published. Gotta think of smth.)

Valentine sketches both ocs & 1 fanart! 

Gladnis is Gladiolus x Ignis from Final Fantasy XV. ShroudRose are ocs. Shroud is my oc while Rose belongs to Rosie. And then ofc I won’t forget to draw my main ocs Veil & Liang together (in fantasy au version). Sad I couldn’t do full illustrations at that time due to tired from work. Sketch it is.

Lastly I was learning drawing patterns & motifs for Veil! Tho that won’t be come into fruition since I have to cut corners for doing comic.
