"What is the main character's name/appearance/pronouns/etc?"
I do not have much for the protagonist currently. I am still working on fleshing out their character. Originally I had the idea of an ambiguous main character, yet that proved too difficult to write to make sense.
"When does the story take place?"
What We Forgot is set in the near future. In my mind it is summer of 2027, but it is very much up for interpretation.
"Why don't you use the word "zombie" in your story?"
Marcorae is Latin for "withered". I use that word as the name for the undead in this novel. The reason being that I wanted something unique and different, and I also liked the idea of using botanical language to describe them.

Hello everybody, new post from us (... again)! It's been a while since we've updated you here on Tumblr, but no worries, we've been working hard on a lot of stuff behind the scenes! >:D
Speaking of stuff, one of the things we are working hard on is a revamp of this project, which means a new project name *and* logo! If you are wondering when it will happen, take a quick peek at our banner! :D
(Note: If you want to guess what the new project name will be, we have revealed two out of the six guesses under the cut!)
The next thing I would like to mention is that we have officially finished with research notes and plot planning, which means the new script is being worked on as you are reading this!
Regarding auditions, they will be reopened once we have shown our new look to the public, with updated requirements! To current members and auditioners of team Music and team Art, feel free to approach us with questions in our DMs, either in here or in our Discord!
We apologise for the quietness of all our socials, we are trying our best to be active here, and with more hands on deck (which will be its own post soon), we can guarantee to be even faster and more efficient with messaging! But to be honest, we are most active in our Discord server, so if you would like to see live updates, or participate in community events, then come join us there too!

What is Double-Hearted (DDVAU)?
Double-Hearted is a comic created by Doody (@kitsuneisi) and Maruu (@xmaruu11) based off of Hermitcraft and the Life Series. It follows the adventures and misadventures of Scar and Grian as they navigate their double lives—one as the beloved celebrity hero Hotguy, the other as popular vigilante Cuteguy, both unaware they're coworkers at the same university.

We tried our best to make most of the prompts writer-friendly as well with the exceptions of Day 22 and Day 30, but feel free to use those as two more free days instead!
What's up with the bonus Day?
At the request of Maruu themself, we've added a bonus day at the very beginning for the first completed arc of Double-Hearted! Since the Mother Spore arc takes place on October 31st, it’s only fitting.
