Ohhh hell yeah redrawing old ugly pics is so goooood

Sensommer, which means late-summer.

It’s the period of time we’re in now. It starts around August’ish and stretches into September-October’ish. It has no official dates but it’s when the trees start changing colors but the weather is still warm but not hot and fruits and nuts start becoming bountiful. It’s the period where nature and people start preparing for the colder seasons. Pleasant beautiful weather. People tend to use this season for really going out and enjoying nature by hiking, running, fishing and foraging. And if you’re into fashion it is of course the season to dress in cute cosy clothes before you have to cover it up with a thick jacket.

It’s my favourite time of year, for the way the trees grow heavy with summer and spill over into gold and red. It always fills me with a sense of connection and wonder for the earth.

The moment I smell the petrichor and the mosses get greener against the first decaying grounded leaves, I feel a sense of hope and wonder for our world, despite everything. Because it’s just so damn beautiful.
