But that then leads me to thinking… shapeshifters. Shapeshifters can change their shape, but it’s not necessarily they can change color or anatomy. Imagine if you see a cat with human skin, no fur, and it just says “meow” in a deep voice a human peen just dangling. XD

On a lighter note: Can Klein turn into a cat?? I WANT TO KNOW DAMMIT!!

I need a fanfic where Leonard adopt a cat and the cat is Klein stuck in cat form. And the old man is just like “that is one strange cat” and you just see a normal cat but he’s like “there’s something weird about that cat” and Leonard just shrugs him off and ignores him keeping Klein as his pet.

Then imagine the surprise when the cat transforms into a naked Klein Moretti and Leonard just… stares. “I rubbed your belly.”

“Yes you did.”

“I… pet you.”

“Yes.”

“I fed you cat food.”

“Yep.”

“Can you turn back?”

“LEONARD!!!”

Or depending on whether it’s the faceless potion that did it:

“KLEIN?!?”

“Leonard. Look- I can explain!”

“YOU REINCARNATED AS A CAT AND THEN CAME BACK?!?”

“… yes. That is exactly what happened.”

“OMG I MISSED YOU!!!”

Wei Ying had been born to good parents I believe. But then was on the street when they died. Which, couldn’t have really been helped with the situation. It’s not like the parents could have contacted the Jiangs and gone “oh we’re probably gonna die tonight, please take care of our son.” Because they were talented! They didn’t expect to die!

But then, the Jiangs. I have some beef with them. They mistreat Wei Ying from day one. Getting rid of the puppies may seem like an understandable thing temporarily, but getting Wei Ying to get over his fear should be the important thing. But they never helped him with his fear.

Jiang Fengmian was a pushover.

Madam Yu was abusive to Wei Ying.

And what did Jiang Yanli do? She comforted but didn’t stop the behavior. She obeyed her mother and didn’t offer any real support to her supposed brother. She defends her mother and her little brother who both have anger issues and mistreat Wei Ying.

And you could say, well what was she supposed to do? Defend her brother! Look for a solution! As someone who has been abused my entire childhood, I know how it feels. Wei Ying was taught from a young age that he cannot be too bright or he risks getting beaten with a spiritual weapon!! Even the Lans didn’t whip Lan Zhan with a spiritual weapon after he fought 30 elders to protect the Yiling Patriarch!!

Jiang Cheng has some insecurities and anger issues. Just like his mother. But that doesn’t mean he should just keep shoving Wei Ying down.

Wei Ying most likely has ADHD. And the fact that his “family” doesn’t like the way he acts is just… weird to me. He’s talented, he’s funny, he’s positive! But of course, the family has their issues.

Now, don’t get me wrong. I do love the Jiangs and understand their part in the story. But I also think they’re kinda abusive towards Wei Ying.

They even groomed him to believe that his life is lesser than Jiang Cheng. That he should give up his entire being for Jiang Cheng and Jiang Yanli. He shouldn’t have felt obligated to find a golden core for Jiang Cheng. He shouldn’t have felt obligated to tear out his own and give it to Jiang Cheng.

I actually really like it when Wei Ying decided to go off on his own! It was a big move and he had to cut ties with everything he knew. But sometimes, that’s what you have to do.

Did the Jiangs do their best to raise Wei Ying with their own problems going on? Probably. Was it the best life for Wei Ying? Not at all.

But he did finally get a happy ending with Lan Zhan! And I’m so happy for him. Having papapa everyday with his husband and finding new ways to skirt around the Lans 4,000 rules and avoid punishment.
