Evidently the (confidential title) project that Jeremy Zag posted on Instagram a while back was Tales of Feryon!

There were so many good things in this episode, but this scene in particular? It was short but moving and I don’t want to shove my angst all over the Christmas thrill and all.

But I just really loved this scene and I want more comments on it.

Adrien just can’t be mad at his mother, though he could succumb to the temptation of cataclysming what hurts him. He could succumb to so many things. He’s not a happy kid, and he could use his powers to take so much revenge on the whole world.

I mean, Hawk Moth uses his miraculous to spread fear and misery.

But Adrien can’t because his mother seemingly has a strong effect on him. She’s the bright part that counters his misfortune. She stopped his momentum, to cry out loud. He was RUNNING and he just f r o z e.

His lucky charm isn’t Ladybug. It’s his mother.

And that makes Ladybug’s role so much more complex.

Adrien is not a villain. Adrien can have impulsive moments and be overwhelmed by his own emotions.

But he is a good kid. He is better than him going rampage destroying the happines of others.

Thats what Hawkmoth does. He magnifies the negativity of other people when his miraculous is not meant to be used for that.

Chat’s miraculous is chaos and destruction. Missfortune.

And Adrien knows how to control it, by putting everyone’s else feelings over his own.
