“When I was 15, I would map out my career. But it’s nice not to have a plan and let the surprises come in. You just don’t know where life’s going to take you. It’s cool to be open about where life goes as opposed to thinking, ‘That’s not really the plan’ or ‘That’s a bit different from the plan.’”

They were talking beforehand about their phone call to organise this and how Sam jokingly asked Kerry which parts she wanted to sing and Kerry had replied “I don’t mind, which would you like to do?” To which Sam nearly screeches “I’m not singing Elphaba in front of you!” Anyway they were both low-key fangirling about singing with each other the entire time.
