and honestly? oscar acting like p2 is the end of world because of ONE penalty where he was very much at fault is what looks really bad when your teammate just won his home race. 60 psi (and 160 kph) in these conditions isn't exactly small and that much will be obvious to anyone who looks at the telemetry later.

got home 10 minutes before lights out and was absolutely knackered, but i did watch the race live!! so glad i did too.

not really an optimist, but I've watched this sport long enough to know that it's unpredictable as hell (2023 aside) and it's too early to call results right now. jenson said something similar and it's true: if your worst results are just a few seconds off the lead or something like p4, you'll be fine. and whether or not he has the car to support his driving, lando's always been fucking fast.

I'm gonna head out to celebrate because I worked my ass off for my engineering finals and Lando winning today was the icing on the cake, a dream come true. If pole's the only way to win Monaco, then it takes a perfect quali to be in that position. It was a stunning lap yesterday, and a carefully perfect race today, and even the most hardcore tifosis of my friends are in the group tonight because they know the win was deserved. Any driver on (or off) the grid would celebrate Monaco, regardless of how they won, and this one was hard-earned.

I'm sure there are real people in your life who love and cherish and support you, so spend some time with them, spread some love around them instead of spreading hate to people you don't even know. Cheers.
