today one of my freshman boys came into class and, unprompted, said “miss, yesterday i was watching the 3rd harry potter movie and i got scared”

at a recent family party, my cousin’s 3 year old was “playing golf,” i.e. he had a full sized club and golf ball but was using them to do hockey maneuvers at an insane speed. really opened my eyes to the possibilities. everyone should be playing golf fast as hell, it was way more fun to watch
