Yeah, yeah. I don't know how to draw, and this is basically the first thing I've ever actually made for this site, so it sucks, but it's still mine. A sort of participation thing for the #reguriweek2020 thing going on for Wednesday (see the Alolan outfits?). Originalshipping, because I love the manga just a teeny tiny bit more than the games.

Anyways, this was practice for drawing them (the centre one is my very first time drawing the two!). I would imagine Red in any universe absolutely adoring Mimikyu, even if I could also imagine any Green to be wary of it.

Can we just talk about how funny reguri is for a moment?

Red and Blue are that ship that is never *explicitly* verified in canon but is so obvious that the fandom as a whole has just come to accept it. Like, even the homophobic Twitter you're-ruining-the-male-friendship-dynamic trolls have more or less stopped fighting it. Because how can you? There are only so many times "that's just a coincidence" works when the besties are off "doing their own thing" on VALENTINE'S DAY, ffs.

And I think it is absolutely hilarious that the toxic masculinity crowd in the gaming world got to see the original protag--the legendary trainer--that they thought was so stoic and badass as a kid skip back into the franchise years later, still legendary, still badass, making doe eyes at his husband in between wrecking everyone's day with his like level 500 pikachu or whatever.

watching the trigun ‘98 anime, and i love the fact that in both the old and new anime, both vash and wolfwood call out the other within a few hours of only just meeting, but in like.. rlly gay way lol

I'd like to also point out that it goes even gayer in the manga only this is before Wolfwood even gets his mission's target, so this was just pure instinct for him to be this fuckin fruity two seconds upon meeting Vash the supposed Humanoid Typhoon without any shady strings attached
