This is so helpful!! Bc i was confused why in every fanart he looked so... Not as scarred/affected by the mutations? Like i understand he would have healed, but idk, it just didn't make sense for me.

Any Dwight/Male Character fic in ao3 is so funny bc it's basically just a dude with scary dog privileges. My sleep deprived brain keeps providing dog breeds to fit each character, it's ridiculous like :

Phillip? Doberman
Fucking- Carter? Great Dane
Tarhos? A Cane Corso maybe??? I have no idea dude, but they all big af.
Except for Danny and Jake, those two are so normal™ that I can't come up with anything for them. They are just dude/dude instead of dude/big strong man.
Also Wesker has big chihuahua/pinscher energy, while Chucky has that annoying poodle toy vibe. I've lived with both of those breeds and know i'm right /jk.

My sister and i went on a long ass walk, not because we wanted to be outside (as the heatwave almost took us out) but because we needed to think "oh, i can't check Ao3 because there's no wifi out here!" Instead of just missing it at home like two wives longing for their husbands in the war.
Dostoyevsky's novels have a level of homoeroticism i aspire to portray in my fanfics, dude would've loved Ao3.
So, i started playing dbd again after taking a much needed break, and after half a year of not even watching anything related to it, the result was me completely forgetting how to play in general.
Like my loops suck ass, both in killer and survivor, skill checks? Can't hit those, can't remember what any perk does, with the exception of dead hard and adrenaline.
And while i'm trying to "it is what it is" the game until i go back to not sucking as much, i've learned about the Ace Visconti effect.
70% of the time (at least in my games) the killers will drop chase under 5 sec if you are an Ace near shack, bonus points if your cosmetics are anything but the default outfit.
Obviously the façade drops as soon as you fuck up and get noted as easy prey, but if you do put up a decent loop once? They avoid your ass like the plague for the rest of the match.
