I do think that if you’re saying things like “I can forgive everything else because they gave Nancy short hair” and “omg lumax went to the movies ❤️” that you are feeding into the fan culture and media landscape that gave us this season. they think they can get away with a few gif-able moments because that’s all anyone is going to pay attention to. give karen wheeler one Badass Moment, give derek some quippy one liners. it’s insulting, and a soup of little moments like this does not add up to a good story. it just doesn’t.
