Ignore the parasocial people and they eventually move on. Build a community of good people who respect boundaries and those people will move on. I haven’t seen any of that myself or I’ve just seen it and not known what it was. I am fortunate to still be very ignorant to a lot of fanfic related stuff and terms.

If you want to be a content creator, be one. You can’t let things other people *might* do prevent you from living your life.

I have been fortunate to not receive a lot of negative feedback on my content but I think it helps that I try to build a community of good people. And so whenever I do get a piece of negative feedback, I usually take it as “this person was having a bad day. It’s not my place to make it better and if I ruin my day trying to fix theirs, they have won. So I will ignore them and their bad day”
