having had so many personal conversations with creators and fans alike for *months* about this topic, i think a large part of why MCYT boundaries discussion sucks is because everyone comes into the conversation with false connotations and assumptions from just seeing the word "boundaries" and it makes for some of the worst "so you hate waffles?" takes i have ever seen. it sort of makes everyone involved seem out of touch with reality. folks are on entirely different pages. i have heard incredibly valid points on both "sides", but about a conversation the other isn't even having. definitely muddied by bad actors as well.
anyway. slow down, assess your biases, have empathy, and treat people with universal respect. and if you don't think this is about you, then this is about you. i've kinda said nothing about my personal thoughts on the topic here, so if it made you upset, i think that reflects more on you than anything.
