I mean Brucie Wayne not Bruce Wayne.

There is something soooo intoxicating about the ‘airhead’ character being themselves but purposely weaponises being stupid.

I think people gets the separation of Bruce Wayne and Batman, but I also think that Brucie Wayne is a so underutilised.

That’s where Bruce can actually get closers to touch some of the people he claims to serve. How Brucie is a faun response for hostility and a weapons used to make smarter underestimate him.

This is not a critic on the fic this is me gushing over everything about it that I like)

Maybe I’m just really fucking weird but something about chapter 2 and 3 really fucking gets me.

This specific chapter brings me so much joy. With the balance of acceptance secrets and caring for someone- the gentleness. I like the fact that they didn’t have s*x. I like how messy it is.

From the ‘who hurt you’ trope and a super caring Bruce. - (“How were you injured, Hal.” Wayne demanded)

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA What can I say? I don’t even really ship them.

Hal is a continually ringing warning bells by, not saying how he got hurt, and not caring where he is being driven. I wouldn’t be surprised if Bruce thought someone was hurting him. Then Hal goes on to say (“Look, I figure you’ve got the means to do whatever the hell you want with me, whether I know in advance or not, so why worry?”) Like Hal honey what is going on.

And Bruce just kind of helps him by just being -sort of- nice.

-The act of asking him if he how he was hurt.

- His assessing injuries ‘Hm’.

- THE BACK RUB!!!

That’s what I was always been told but is that a real Inworld explanation we are given in the comics? (If so what comic?) or is it more of a fandom thing/excuse we use?
