What truly holds his attention aren’t people, but the high he can get from twin addictions: drugs and blood.

Rabastan’s tale is about isolation, loyalty and viciousness. Even the most terrible of Dark wizards have things and people that they care about, so will you be the one to explore the man behind the monster?

Rodolphus Lestrange - OPEN Faction: Death Eaters

While Lord Voldemort is cold and calculating, the same cannot be said for many of his followers. Rodolphus Lestrange is a powerful wizard and dangerous foe, but there is nothing cold nor calculated about him. He is as wild and impulsive as his wife Bellatrix, though she possesses a sense of discretion that Rod has long struggled to imitate. He doesn’t want to hide or hold back. He wants the mad joy of the highs he experiences from the myriad of addictive potions and powders he takes, as well as the violence he exults in.

Rodolphus is a fascinating and challenging character, perfect for anyone who wants to explore a character that is so much more than his mania.

Certainly not from romancing a certain young Pureblooded witch by the name of Andromeda Black. A quiet and unassuming Hufflepuff, Ted never wanted to make great waves in the world. He just wanted to be happy and the best for his family and friends. But happiness didn’t come easy with the First Wizarding War raging on. The world was bearing its vicious sharp teeth at the Tonks family and he wondered if they could survive it.

The Tonks family is a remarkable one: from Andromeda, who left behind all she had been raised to know and believe for love, to young Nymphadora, with her rare gift and courageous destiny, and Ted, the Muggleborn who turned a Black sister’s head and fought against darkness with kindness and an open heart. One of the most beloved characters in Harry Potter, Minerva McGonagall is a force to be reckoned with. Vastly clever and talented, she is as dependable as she is strict. Though she has no family of her own, her past marred by heartbreak, she sees herself as responsible for the safety and well-being of not only of her many students, but also the younger members of the Order of the Phoenix. She keeps them in line (sometimes at the cost of a grey hair or five), but also is someone they can always come to for advice and help. But who will be there for her? Behind her brave face, she is still just a person, with fears and insecurities and loneliness.

A teacher, a fighter, a defender, a friend: Minerva is a complicated and layered character. Will you be the one to take up the role and tell her story?

William Nott - OPEN Faction: Death Eaters

War is messy, something that William Nott has always hated. Despite agreeing with their views, joining the Death Eaters has never been something he’s really wanted. It is too dangerous, too unclean. But pressures from his Pureblood family pushed him to take the Dark Mark and though he fears where it will lead him, he’s taken to Lord Voldemort’s cause with the same cleverness and eloquence that he applies to everything in his life.

Fabian Prewett - OPEN Faction: Order of the Phoenix

Fred and George are famously preceded as Hogwarts pranksters by the Marauders, but there was another set of twins closer to home that filled that role first: their own uncles, Fabian and Gideon Prewett. Fabian was a natural joker, always ready with a smile and a witty joke. But his humour masked pain, jealousy and long-simmering feelings of inadequacy. Lion-hearted, he joined the Order to fight back the darkness. But what about the darkness within?

Jovial Mrs Weasley earned the right to be fiercely protective of her children in the face of Voldemort’s threat; she’d already suffered the loss of her brothers during the First Wizarding War. But that is merely the ending of the Prewett twins’ tale. What’s far more important is the life each lived that led there. Will you be the one to recount the story of Fabian Prewett?

Gideon Prewett - OPEN Faction: Order of the Phoenix

Back before Fred and George Weasley had made their mark at Hogwarts as reigning twin kings of mischief, their uncles Fabian and Gideon bore that proud title. But Hogwarts life couldn’t last forever and with the grown-up world came the harsh realities of war. Gideon Prewett, the elder twin by mere minutes, was always the straighter edge. Though always good for a laugh, he was the one people took more seriously than his boisterous brother Fabian. But beneath the responsible facade, his world was crumbling with each passing day.

So little is known about so many of the original members of the Order of the Phoenix. Molly Weasley was often brushed aside when she protested her children’s and Harry Potter’s involvement in the Second Wizarding War, but it shouldn’t be forgotten that she lost her own brothers to the cause. Who was Gideon Prewett? What was his story? Join and be the one to tell it.

Alice Longbottom - OPEN Faction: Order of the Phoenix

It would be difficult to find a witch more capable and kind than Alice Longbottom. The rookie Auror, alongside her husband Frank, is one of the most devoted people around when it comes to combatting the evil of Voldemort and his followers. She doesn’t shy away from a fight, but the trauma of the war is wearing away at her. Always rather obsessed with cleanliness, her OCD was only worsened by the murder of her parents at the hands of the Death Eaters and her own personal sufferings. How long can this brave young Auror keep from falling apart at the seams?

Alice’s story is doomed to end in tragedy, but there’s so much more to her than the shell of a woman we meet in St Mungo’s in the books. She had love and friends and foes and fears. She had a life. Will you be the one to recount it?
