But you have the absolute RIGHT to step away from things focus on things in real life. Just know you're a good person, and it's vital to focus on what YOU feel is important at the moment.

I do feel bad for leaving this comic (I had said I’d try to update at least once a month, and now it’s been… 4 months?? Since the last update?? Oopsie 😬) but yeah, life’s gonna life LOL

I can’t make any promises as to when it’ll be back. There are a lot of variables at play here, but the tl;dr of it all is:

1) Life stuff, as mentioned

2) My priorities on this comic are very low, and I’m putting a lot more focus on writing

and 3) I’m honestly just not that into sonic anymore due to fandom harassment and just a general decay of interest over time. I’ve been a member of the sonic fandom since 2020–that’s actually pretty unheard of for me, as usually my hyperfixations fade a lot faster than that!!

I do have the next page about half-drawn rn, so if I ever get back to finishing it, I’ll post it! But gone are the days of a reliable update schedule, lol. I don’t want to *completely* abandon this comic, but I can’t guarantee a lot.

Anyways, all that to say, thank you for reaching out!! It was really sweet of u, genuinely made my day to hear that this silly lil hedgehog comic has made an impact and it’s something folks think about 💖

Hola, gracias por preguntar. Últimamente este cómic ha pasado a un segundo plano para mí, ya que estoy lidiando con asuntos de la vida real que me han impedido seguir creándolo. He publicado un libro (¡buenas noticias!) pero también me he enterado de que voy a perder mi empleo (¡malas noticias!), así que ahora mismo tengo la vida patas arriba.

Originalmente quería publicar al menos una página al mes y, obviamente, no ha sido así; ¡lo siento! No sé cuándo volveré a actualizar, pero espero que no pase demasiado tiempo.

Hi, thank you for asking. This comic has been a low priority for me lately, I'm dealing with some things in real life that have gotten in the way of comic-making. I've published a book (good news!) and found out I'm losing my job (bad news!) so my life's all over the place right now.

But I have a question, does sonic has long eyelashes beceause he's trans in this universe ? Or its just your way to draw him ?

Thanks for asking! The answer is the simple one: that’s just the way I draw him, haha. I like putting eyelashes on him, it’s fun! ☺️

So this is a fun question because I COULD just look at the script for Issue 5 and give you a fairly concrete answer. I could easily say, "well, in an upcoming scene, she says [REDACTED]." but those are spoilers, aren't they? 🤫😉
