The last section in the list reads “experience romantic attraction” with an asterisk next to it. The reply reads “hold on…” before amending underneath to read “you can still be aromantic, and you might also be on the aromantic spectrum!” The amendment points to a list underneath “experience romantic attraction” that reads:

“… that is rare? that is weak, or hard to distinguish? that is hard for me to distinguish from other attractions? that I hesitate to call “just” romantic? that is unreliable and/or unstable? that goes away under certain, maybe unknown, circumstances? that only happens under certain, maybe unknown, circumstances? in a way that makes me feel more comfortable using aromantic labels?”

At the bottom of the post is a box reading “Aromantic is both an orientation and an umbrella term for all aromantic labels on the aromantic spectrum, like "arospec." We are a very diverse community that welcomes all who feel more comfortable using our labels. It's important to remember that Behavior does not equal Attraction; your experience with romantic attraction and/or lack thereof is what makes you aro and/or arospec”.
