Oh, hey! It’s Doctor Strange! Staring at him.. disapprovingly. He heard him, didn’t he? Oh boy.

“Oh..”

Oh, wow. That’s Black Widow, isn’t it? One of the most prominent Avengers. At least, before Miles came along. As far as he knew, she’d been doing her own thing, so this was his first time actually seeing her up close. Better not make a bad first impression.

“.. Same hat? Since we’re both Spider themed.”

“Excuse me. But have you seen a Spider-Man around here? Another Spider-Man, I mean. A bigger one, dressed in blue spandex. Sounds like he’s both really suave and really dorky?”

“Okay, so there’s no way back. At all. Okay. I’m alright, I’m cool. (I am not cool at all).”

Whatever hopes he had of finding his way back to his world were quickly dashed after several inquiries. People before him had tried. Numerous times. The city as a whole had made a few attempts. But according to every single person he;d asked, no one had ever found a way to leave this city of their own will. He was stuck here, without knowing what fate befell his friends or parents.
