So when Joshua finds a familiar flash of orange amongst a crowd of zombies, Joshua’s quick to fly to his side, casting him a brief look-over. “Can you fight? Actually, that doesn’t matter.”

He shoves a gun into the boy’s hands. “You’re going to fight. Tell me you know how that works.”

✯ This apartment Maya’s been assigned to has definitely seen better days. There are spots of water infiltration everywhere and spider webs fill every corner she stares at. There’s some dust in the area too, as if nobody has entered here for years before she and her roommates arrived here.

✯ Well, that won’t do it! If she’s going to stay here, might as well make it worth her presence. Headband in place, a bunch of brooms and buckets and a big amount of collected cleaning products later, Maya appears at the living room, where at least ONE of her roommates should be. She can’t possibly clean all of this on her own! Plus, shared responsability and all that.

When Neku turns around, he's faced with the barrel of a gun, Joshua staring him down from the other end with a small smile cocked on his lips. There's a pause, just to let the moment sink in, before the boy's face is met with one shot full of ice cold water.

"It can't be a summer festival without a water fight, you know," he laughs. Then squirts Neku a few more times, just for good measure.
