Hot take: TVD fans who hold on to one era of a character, hate the character and ignore all character development- and then get mad when someone else does it to their favourite aren’t mature fans.

All characters: Caroline, Elena, Damon, Stefan, Klaus, changed so much throughout the show.

That isn’t saying they are good or bad, but TVD isn’t black and white. Every character can be annoying, iconic, evil, good, etc. Caroline was a bitch in s1, but not for no reason, and while that doesn’t excuse it- it’s still reason.

Damon and Katherine are r-pists, everyone in that show has killed someone, Elena can be annoying, they are all morally grey. People also need to stop treating relationships and actions like these guys are human, it’s fiction, things are complicated and relationships are built on trauma and pressure of knowing you might die any day.

A situation like Caroline and Klaus sleeping together after she broke up with Tyler is COMPLICATED. I am on neither side because things get hard, Tyler lost his mum and had every right to be upset, he walked away from Caroline and therefore cannot disrespect her actions. He put killing Klaus before loving her. But he can be devastated and angry that someone he loved/loves fucked the guy who controlled him and killed his mum.

He lost apart of his soul, like Klaus, and replaced it with eager bloodshed. But he didn’t just kill for the thrill of it, it was an attempt to get his sibling’s attention.

He was constantly undermined despite being one of the most knowledgeable and arguably wise (because wise doesn’t mean calm) siblings. He had so much potential, and the only love he got was from Davina, Hope and (a tad) Klaus in the end.

While I understand people may have been put off by the make up, I truly think it was simply that the hair chosen (the half up half down) didn’t fit her as well as the other hairs.

So essentially, a year ago I accidentally deleted the fic I was on the last chapter of. The plot goes something like this:

Buck is a bartender/stripper at an old job and meets Eddie who’s at his cousin’s bachelor party. He gives him a service and later on at the night, gives him his number. For the next few weeks or months, it’s essentially a power bottom story with Buck teaching Eddie how to be with a man.

For some reason, Eddie has to go away and they loose contact. A few years later Buck either finally decides to call his number or finds it, and calls Eddie but Chris picks up. Buck is angry that Eddie has a kid and thinks he helped a man cheat, so he hangs up.

A few years later, the plot of 911 carries out and Buck is mad at Eddie and the latter has no idea why. They are forced to hash out their feelings!!
