You’re holding your breath as he stares at you, almost expecting him to reprimand you for a mistake. He won’t ever be violent, nor will he raise his voice, but he’ll be disappointed. You hate disappointing him.

But no criticism comes your way. He simply observes you, with a soft smile on his face. Your heart skips. He seems to sense how flustered you are. His smile grows, almost into a smirk.

Then, he leans down, his eyes flicking to your lips. He lifts your head as he starts to close the space between you. He’s so unbelievably close, lips hovering centimeters away.

And he stops. He’s teasing you and loving the way your sense reacts. He changes direction, moves away from your lips and his mouth brushes your ear instead.

“I think you missed a spot,” he whispers, before letting you go and straightening back up again.
