VashonG & the G is for... Glamorous

I recently traveled to Puerto Penasco, Mexico over Spring break and had the time of my life!!! While there my friends and I stayed in the cutest Airbnb, a small gated house located in the actual neighboorhood of the town this made the trip even more authentic.

While there we rode ATV’s around the whole resort, ate the most amazing burritos, bar hopped (the drinking age is 18 *woo woo*) and danced the night away. This was honestly one of the best experiences of my life so many memories and hilarious moments were made. Plus I was able to have all this fun paying less than $100 while there over the course of 3 days. Also, it was my roomies birthday so you know we turned up!!!!

SAY YES TO THIS DRESS! 

The beautiful sequin off the shoulder gown that I recently wore in the pageant was most definitely a show stopper. The dress was a mix of green, navy blue, purple and a hint of yellow undertones. The dress was well form fitting and I didn’t have any alterations made as I ordered a size Small. The material was also stretchy but thick and there was a slit made in the inside of the dress. I accompanied it with a gold necklace to match, which also matched my gold eyeshadow lol. Plus BABYYYY this dress shined in every light and hit every angle literally perfect! As expensive as it looks I only paid *drum roll* $90 for this gem!! 

So I finally did the dang thing and ya girl got a wig! When it comes to my hair that’s something I do not play about lol. But this wig is soooooo bomb omg omg I really couldn't be happier. The best part is that I BARELY spent over $100 on this beauty for a $300 quality. The hair is 100% virgin human Indian, very soft, silky and bouncy curls. This unit also came with baby hairs, but I had to create the part myself which was not a big deal. It also came in a pretty silk bag along with a coupon code and lashes, how bomb! I prewashed it and it still remained the curl pattern which is very pretty I also added product.

Okay so let’s get into my look for NYE. Despite it being -10 degrees outside that still didn’t stop me from wearing this cute, sexy short dress! I got this showstopper at Forever 21 in the Mall of America. It was only $12 on clearance!! Of course, I caught the after Christmas sells and it was as even a BOGO going on so I really lucked up.

Happy New Years Everyone! I'm sending and wishing you nothing but positive energy, prayers, and productiveness & within your life. Just know whatever it is you're going through now that you're not alone. No matter how your situation now does not determine your future. God ALWAYS has a plan for, you for the better. A positive mindset can take you so far in life. 

Here are some keynotes and a little advice from me to you to think about this upcoming year! 

• Everyday you should try to be better than who you were yesterday 

• It's important to stay consistent with yourself when goal making. The point of making a goal is to achieve it (Which you will) 

•Live, learn and grow from your mistakes always continue to better yourself on a daily basis 

•Stay BUSY & stay FOCUSED 

•Try to make the best out of nothing! • Motivate YOURSELF! Have faith in your vision! 

•Don’t compare yourself to others, do what makes YOU happy 

•Once you reach your goals you should always continue to make new ones! Keep the grind and the same energy as when you started 

•Most importantly LOVE YOURSELF 💜

If youre, not hip already then you should definitely get into Revlis designs! This brand was founded by THE lovely Silver Moran another Minnesota native as well who has a deep love and passion for fashion. Behind the dope clothing is such a humble and yet hungry young woman her designs are simply BOMB and in fact, I became a fan based off of her work ethic and ambition behind her work. As Silver stated her brand represents recycling/re-inventing it into something that flows. As well as providing the reconstruction of old to new by taking a piece of clothing and transforming it into something better. How dope is that? Sometimes you don’t have to throw things out they just need a special touch to be brought to life! She states that her motivation behind starting Revlis Designs... “Basically, I was hungry for it and found myself wanting to reinvent, inspire, and innovate. I figured I wanted to construct my own clothes by first taking a piece of clothing and reconstructing and refashioning it into something unique and fresh. I wanted to do something different, by churning out old designs and giving it a different twist.” She hopes to inspire, push new boundaries, challenge the status quo and as well as change others perspective on some fashion trends. Honestly, with this ravishing mindset plus by her being so diligent Silver and her designs will go so far and as you can tell I'm so here for it!

Revlis designs have been featured in multiple showcases and I'm more than sure much more to go. Mark my word things will only get better so DONT sleep!
