A sigh of relief leaves the lips of a wild haired brunette. Â A small smirk graces his lips as he walks down a street riddled with trash. Â Night, it was his favorite time to be active. So many interesting things happened then and this night was no different as the rats of the town began pouring out of their homes. Â City folk that Sora merely considered as food. Â
He wasnât alone either, for he brought a long a peculiar blond that was slightly shorter then him in height and looked far more intimidating with that set glare he wore. Â He adorned a thin see-through nylon shirt that was black in color and hugged tightly around his body. Â His sleeves were long, swallowing most of his wrists near the ends. Â Below he wore pants that were decorated with fancy tribal-like designs that followed with glittering beads beginning at the ankles. Â
Sora growled, rolling his eyes as he adjusted his leather jacket, â Yâknow Roxas, if you want to sell yourself, look lively!â
'Sell yourself', Roxas knew what he truly meant by that, 'If you want a good meal, make yourself approachable' was what he truly meant. Â Roxas let out a haggard sigh.
" Rox, I may not know how the whole male prostitution thing works, but I know for damn sure a guy is not gonna fuck you if you continue glaring at everything in sightâŚand fix your posture!  Slouching isnât attractive to them."
" Ug! I do not want to engage in sexual intercourse withâ"
" You get what I actually mean!" he hissed, causing a bunch of people to gaze at them with curious glances. Â Roxas understood, Sora couldnât say what he really meant to keep the humans from getting suspicious. Â Still, Roxas couldnât see why they have to resort to this when they could possibly use other ways of getting food.
"  I doâŚbut why canât I justâŚdo something like pretending Iâm selling coke to fool someone?"
Another hiss erupts from the elder, â Do you want to get yourself killed?!â
" I have a suit that can protect me from their bulleâ"
" Which would cause a scene thatâll get this universeâs government interested in sniffing us out and once they find us theyâll experiment on us or worse!"
Roxas sighed with a frown.
" See? Â You see how stupid thatâd be?"
He just grunts, choosing not to answer as he looks away.
" This is better. Â Lure them in, then take them someplace no one goes to and strikeâor bring them home with you and strike there. Â No one will notice âcuz this place doesnât give a shit about the people living here in the slums," he went on explaining lowly as the reached a parking lot in front of a decent looking bar.
It was one Sora went to when he wasnât in the mood to deal with the more wilder crowd. Â Especially when they started playing dubstepâloud how he hated dubstep. Â They messed with his senses.
Finally making it to the door, the brunette was just about to open it when he twists his head to face Roxas and whispered, â Remember what I told you?â
Nodding, he began reciting his parentâs words, â Stay calm, act casual and they wonât suspect a thing, but stay alert to possible dangers.â
" Good," with that he opened the wooden door and walked inside with Roxas following after.
At that very moment did Roxas begin to gag. Â The strong aroma of perfume and heaven knows what else crawling up into his nostrils while smothering his sensors as he hacked away. Â Sora gave him a pained look that only lasted a few seconds before a guy walked up to him and began talking. Â Sora laughed, leaving Roxas behind as he pursued the stranger.
Roxas muttered a curse, grumbling to himself as he made his way over to a nearby wooden table and plopped himself in a chair. Â Afterward he rested his head onto the table, wrapping his arms around himself to hide his face. Â His first time ever coming to a place like this and he wasnât liking this already. Â Â
Vanitas found himself with a drink in hand, letting the contents swill around with the gentle rotations of his wrist. He kept his gaze flitting across the inhabitants of the building, never settling, yet taking everything in.
His eye was caught and held when he saw two men walk in. His ears shot up with interest; those two practically oozed trouble. Especially the blond one, who looked like he'd rather beâŚwell, anywhere else. Vanitas snickered quietly, thinking how much alike they were at the moment. He tried to take a sniff at the pair, but winced as the stench in the place overwhelmed his senses.
When the blond plunked himself down at a table nearby, Vanitas had a small inward debate that was quickly resolved when he noticed the other man, the brunet, was occupied. So he stood, keeping ahold of his drink, and sidled over to the stranger, smirking a little. He slid into one of the seats around the table, one right next to the blond. "Hey there," he murmured. "You look annoyed." So what if the guy looked human? Maybe he wasn't. After all, Vanitas knew little to nothing about this world. He set his drink on the table and tipped it towards the stranger slightly. "Want some? Swear it's not spiked." He smiled a bit, unconsciously showing off his pointed fangs.
