Vanitas was minding his own business, doing his usual pastime of exploring the scrolls and books he had accumulated over time in his cave. The dragon flicked his tail over the pages, then pushed it aside with a sigh--nothing. He groaned through his teeth, letting out a hiss of smoke. The black dragon picked up another book and eyed it. Something strange was written on it, and he looked it over, ears lifting in curiosity. He traced the pattern in the book over with his claw--
Suddenly Vanitas yelped as he felt a slight pull, then found himself…somewhere else. His belongings were gone, and his cave smelled of bat dung, which the one he owned would never be.
Deciding to walk outside and take a look around, he hid the book in a crevasse in the stone, eyeing it to make sure it was well hidden. Then he formed into a human and walked outside.
Vanitas found himself walking through the lesser parts of a dingy town. He glanced around, trying to hide his disgust. It certainly wasn't clean here, by any standards, but it was better than nothing. Maybe someone around here could tell the dragon how he wound up where he was. He glanced nearby at a tavern, and reached up to scratch his ear with a claw. "That'll work," he sighed quietly, then walked over and made his way inside.
The raven-haired man walked over to the bar, keeping off to the side and away from the center of attention, although he was slightly worried about his wings drawing attention. He sat on a stool and turned slightly so he was facing back towards the entrance, resting his right arm on the bar. When the waiter asked what he wanted, he mentioned whatever first came to mind, just to get him to go away. "Seems normal enough here," he hummed to himself, yellow eyes flicking as nonchalantly as possible over the other inhabitants.
Ooc Totally didn’t look up yellow socks in the urban dictionary and wind up dying laughing. Nope. Course not.
And now that Roxas is in mortal danger, I'm off to sleep~
(Fyi, i saw those notes peeps, but I’m in bed and on my phone, so I’ll get to them tomorrow)

"Why not?" he says with a hint of slyness in his tone while cocking his head to the side.
"Because it's odd," Joshua answered, crossing his arms over his chest. "But I suppose, judging by your appearance, that's just what you are. Odd." There were no sugary words. No filter here.
