WIP Wednesday or, y'know, whenever~

I'm switching gears to Back-rank Mates and Ma ghilana now since I'm so far ahead with DABB 2026, but I just finished the first draft to Chapter 3 of Sunspots!
(Mr and Mrs are fighting the only way two LG characters know how lol):
"I… tried to reach you," he said, retrieving the sending stone from his pocket, holding it up as if it wasn't identical to hers, "what happened?"
She chewed her lip, "I lost it."
A terrible lie, though in her defence, it was not a practice which either of them were accustomed to.
"You lost it," he repeated.
"I thought you'd return to Silverymoon by now."
"I see… That must be why you didn't think to stop at home first, before passing through."
"Well," said Tav, "yes." She chuckled sheepishly, "We're on our way to—"
"Anauroch. I know. An innkeeper told me." Gale stopped short of an arm's length from his wife. He thrust an empty hand to stoke more flames from the embers so they could see each other better, "You really ought to be more careful about that. I didn't even have to pay for the information."
"Oh, please. Who would they tell?"
"Me." He scoffed openly, "Or anyone, for that matter."
"That does not make it a smart practice."
It pained him that she showed no interest toward affection.
"Alright," Tav sighed, eyes flitting to check over his shoulder as they spoke, "anything else?"
More concerned about Astarion's return, he thought, and subsequently, it was the most ridiculous notion he could possibly have. But then her next words drove a knife into his chest:
