My life (currently) as a fanfic writer. The pros and cons.
It's the easiest to write for because
1. It's all American. No "Brit picking" required
2. I have an entire series (11 "books") outlined
3. Two more series started.
1. I have writers block on my next chapter I need to upload.
2. My beta/Alpha reader ghosted me.
3. I feel guilty for emotionally "torturing" my Cinnamon Roll mmc.
4. I HATE half of my own ship
1. My mmc was made for my writing style. He was built for emotional "torture"
2. It's been plotted for YEARS.
1. It requires a "Brit picker" anyway i look at it. My fmc and several side characters are supposed to be British. I can change 3 but I still have Spike and Dru.
2. The outline needs work.
Fandoms I want to write for and have ideas:
Pro: I have some amazing ideas
Con: I need a "Brit picker"
Fandoms I want to write for but have no ideas for:
Red, White and Royal Blue
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE everything about the characters
1. It's not my writing style
American Horror Story Murder House
Pro: The desire is there 100%
Most of the fandoms i want to write for require a Brit Picker and writing for Spike and Dru (Angel/Buffy) is nothing like writing for Brandon (God of Fury) and Henry (Red, White and Royal Blue). I know a little British but not enough to "fake it till I make it".
